very well appointed with everything we needed for gathering with several families. loved the large closet at the entry and having coolers out in the garage!

My husband and I had a very relaxing stay- just what we were hoping for. The house is very spacious, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is so peaceful, the place is rustic and surrounded by trees yet near to town and the walking paths. Keith responded to our questions right away and was easy to work with. The house is very cozy and warm. Will definitely come back in the near future.

Such a great spot for a family weekend getaway. Beautiful, peaceful location in the woods. Fantastic indoor pool and basement game room. Plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. Great options for sleeping.

Cute, clean home near many parks and attractions in the Brainerd Lake area. Thoughtful touches and amenities for guests. Everyone enjoyed the pool which was a unique find for an Airbnb rental in the area.

We were admittedly not the easiest guests. We brought along my autistic son and my 87 year old grandma and had to make some of our own safety adjustments and had some accommodations requests and they graciously assisted with! The pontoon died in the lake (our fault) and they came out to rescue us with 0 judgement, we also locked ourself out of one of our rooms and again 0 judgement. We were a mess and we were greeted with nothing but hospitality. Such an amazingly beautiful resort with phenomenal staff. We cannot wait to come back!

My wife and I booked this home for ourselves and 5 other couples (12 people total) and we had a great time! There was plenty of space for us all, and it was the perfect place to connect with our friend group. The main living room was spacious and comfortable to fit all of us at one time. We spent most of our time cooking together, playing games, and doing some hiking in the surrounding area. This home definitely enhanced our great weekend :) The sauna and hot tub are also great amenities, so we always had something to do! Dan and Mona Jo were responsive hosts and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We recommend booking this gem ASAP before somebody else does!

Can't say enough about this experience. 5-stars all around. The property had everything we need to feel and home and Michelle was an amazing, responsive and hospitable host. Great location to pop north to Yawkey or south to Cuyuna Brewing.

Loved staying at the little house, and being able to bring our dog with was great. Clean place with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. Great selection of DVDs and board games. Very quiet area but also very close to restaurants, groceries, etc.

Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay at this property as a base for visiting the trolls in nearby Detroit Lakes. The rooms were very large and the spaces were not cluttered with breakable decorative objects which was nice for traveling with toddlers. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook meals even including a crockpot! The coffee cupboard was a really nice touch with multiple options for brewing coffee. We appreciated the games, books and puzzles to entertain ourselves and did not miss a tv at all. The Wi-Fi worked great if you wanted to stream on your devices.

Great place to stay for our group of friends looking to ride the trails and enjoy the entertainment in Crosby. Will definitely try to stay again if the opportunity arises.

Stayed at Renee’s lovely home and hosted family Christmas. It had snowed day before but all was plowed out and sidewalks shoveled. Such a cozy spot conveniently located in the lakes area for our Brainerd holiday gathering. The place is immaculate. You would be hard pressed to find anything not provided for your entertaining needs. This place is so well stocked and so many personal touches. Beds were so comfy!! My family loved the layout for entertaining and the rec room annex steps away. Renee even went above and beyond and decorated for our family occasion! We reached out with one question and she responded immediately. I cannot recommend this lovely home enough or the host. We will be back!!

We were so happy with our stay at The Lake Haus for my birthday weekend with another couple. The house is so well set up to have multiple people. The downstairs is a giant rec room with this enormous comfortable sofa, tv and a pool table. The basement allows an entire separate space from the upstairs. This worked out for me because I am an early riser and I could be in a space without worrying about waking others up. I adored the furnishings. I am an interior designer myself so I am hard to please. They did such a great job with mixing the new with the log cabin feel. I was very impressed. We were able to make ourselves at home with all of the lovely amenities. We made dinner on the grill, had a fire and listened to records. It was perfect. We were talking about our next trip back. We were here in the winter but I can just imagine how amazing this place would be in the summer.

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful, feeling like home on a beautiful lake! The location was private and the cabin was clean and well-equipped for our family. Scott was a great host. Very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!!

Fourth stay at Ron and Mindy's in the last 8 months. The best place for a tired fisherman to kick back and relax. Hope these two host for a long, long time!

We rented Therese's place for an annual cousin get together (13 of us) and it was wonderful having our own bedrooms & SO much space to relax. It was great having the downstairs with the pool table & where the younger cousins slept. The kitchen was massive, with everything we needed. Two refrigerators were a lifesaver. And the fire pit was fantastic! 4 of our cousins flew from Arizona and had never experienced Fall, and they were treated to peak Fall colors and loved hanging out on the dock, enjoying the sunsets every night. The beds were really comfortable, which was great! Our group said they would definitely want to go back here but extend our stay because it was THAT amazing!

very nice place to stay. a few more stairs (or steps) then expected (bad knee recent surgery) but we'll worth it. host is beyond responsive and helpful. would definitely stay again. front deck and watching the wildlife (deer and ducks) with My dad made the stay memorable!

What a cozy and friendly space for our little family getaway! A quiet country location (we watched 6 deer stroll through the yard), but just a few minutes drive from shopping, food, and tons of activities. Austin was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

This warm and inviting old home with modern updates was great get away for our family. We look forward to visiting the area again.
