Great place to stay. Our group had a great time and the house worked out perfect for the wedding we were attending at the Leland Lodge. The house had plenty of space for the 8 people we had staying there. And everything we needed during our stay was made available to us by the host. Being winter we weren’t able to check out the beach or trails which would’ve been great and I’m sure makes the house an even better stay during the summer time. We all would definitely stay there again.

We hope to stay there again in the future!

The stay at this beautiful cabin was perfect! Amazing sunrise views over the water each morning and even the northern lights one night! Fire pit on the beach and relaxing walks on the shoreline. Close to downtown Northport, restaurants, coffee shops, and many wineries. A perfect weekend getaway for our family! We will return!

This lovely cottage was perfect for our family of five (3 kids 12, 8 & 6). It had everything we needed and was right across the road from a cute park on Glen Lake. It was close to a lot of different parks including Sleeping Bear Dunes. Heidi kept in good communication to make sure we had everything we needed, including making sure we could get out of the driveway after a heavy snow. Hope to stay again next year!

My family and I loved our stay with Dan and Rachel, and definitely will be back. We had a girls trip with my aunt who was visiting from the UK, and had the best time. The property is so calm and peaceful, the perfect summer getaway. Our room was clean and spacious, and had a great view of the lake. Dan and Rachel were so kind and accommodating in all of our interactions. It was wonderful to be greeted by Dunes, the family dog on the property, as we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast on the patio outside our room. Visiting the chickens and buying their fresh eggs was an unexpected bonus. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and we are so happy to have found such a gem of a vacation place!

This is our first time staying Up North in the winter and it won’t be our last! Planning a trip with our best friends—where each family rented a cottage next door to each other—was the perfect weekend getaway!!! The cottage was cozy and warm with a roaring fire in the wood stove when we got back from skiing at the Homestead (just fifteen minutes away!) and to top it off, we walked across the yard to sit in a bubbling hot tub with our friends to soak the night away. Melissa was incredibly responsive and left the sweetest welcome package when we arrived, plus the cottage was so cute and so clean! We will absolutely be back this summer—spending time here for a whole week would be a DREAM. We can’t stop talking about this place—we’d recommend it to anyone who wanted to escape downstate for a weekend away.

The condo is exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located to many activities and restaurants in there area. We enjoyed staying here and will plan to stay there again when we travel to the Traverse City area again. We highly recommend this condo.

We had a bit of change in our plans due to an unforseen an emergency and Marissa & Reid were quick to accomadate us and we were so appreciative. The house was in a great location, very clean and beautiful and it was a smooth check in and check out.
