The owner was friendly and welcoming. She made sure to send me all the information I needed for my stay beforehand, and responded to messages quickly. The apartment was clean and there was even some food provided for me. Overall I felt very welcome (:

Perfectly placed for our needs. All aspects of the booking were completely seamless. It is a maisonette so we could hear the flat above but was in no way intrusive and we all had a restful night The flat had everything you could wish for and the decoration was perfect. Already considering our next booking highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at the place. The flat is centrally located with a great view and a very peaceful ambience. All the amenities were available. It is a great place to go visit all nearby places and have a good rest after an eventful day.

Great host great stay

Great stay at Simon’s penthouse for a long birthday weekend. A large space with everything you could need. The terrace and hot tub were incredible and a sun trap from morning to evening with great views. A stones throw from Southwell high street and the minster. Simon was very helpful moving the booking forward a week at the last minute and was quick to respond to any requests during the stay. There are a few things that need fixing or updating but all in all a top notch apartment in a great location, and nothing that detracted from the enjoyment of a great weekend with family.

Recommended place to stay. All fittings seemed new. Parking was easy every time I needed it. Welcome pack of goodies on arrival.

Great place for workers wanting to be close to the city. Free enclosed parking and secure area plus nice little flat with the amenities you need. Could do with some tea towels and more cooking items. Other than that a lovely place

Fantastic stay, great communication, place was cozy and had everything required for our stay.

Stayed here with 2 friends and our children. Paulina was really thoughtful in providing toddler plates & cutlery, and a basket of toys which went down well. There was also milk in the fridge. The lounge was a relaxing space, and the beds very comfortable.

Had a lovely stay here with 6 of us plus a baby. Lots of room and very clean throughout. Overall a lovely place to stay and would definitely recommend. Anytime we travel up for the weekend for a Santa Pod event again, we will definitely be staying here. Thank you again to Wakene.

No issues with our stay, it did what it needed to do & gavecus the space we needed as a family after a function we attended.

We had a fantastic weekend at Lucy's place. Lucy and Stephen have thought of everything! There is a very handy flexible check-in process, and once you check in there are lots of clear instructions on how to use everything in the property. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need during your stay and the property has a comfy and spacious living/dining area. Both bedrooms had comfortable double beds and it was extremely helpful to have the two bathrooms, as well as a downstairs toilet. The property is in a really lovely setting in a quiet corner, so traffic noise is minimal. A really lovely stay to celebrate a family birthday - thank you so much!

The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable, and we especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips for local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal – close to everything, yet quiet enough to truly unwind. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.

A great apartment within walking minutes to the city centre. Clean and tidy, a comfy, linen fresh bed, full kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, washing up accessories if needed. Kieran was a great host, great speedy communication, very clear arrival instructions. A friendly gated apartment area, would recommend. Thank you Kieran.

This was our 3rd time at Butterfly house and it did not disappoint. David’s place really stands out to us and that’s why we always come back. His place feels so homely and put together that it’s always on our list when we think of where to go for a staycation. Debbie was amazing hosting us, such good communication and great response times. This is a great apartment. All you need for a comfortable stay. We had the delight of lovely weather too. It is up 2 flights of stairs but very manageable 🙂

Beryl was a wonderful host! We stayed for 1 night as a quick stopover on a long journey and Beryl was very accommodating. Even though we booked with very short notice the space was immaculate so we could tell Beryl had very high standards. Everything was spotlessly clean and as described. We had a great nights sleep and the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Even though we didn’t have the opportunity to use it due to our fleeting visit, the patio seating area was really nice and no doubt a great place to enjoy the countryside air. I would highly recommend Beryl’s place.
