Myself and my family spent a great memorable weekend at Slav's place on the lake. The house and settings were perfect. The place was clean and new, without clutter, and still very comfortable. The host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you, Slav and I hope to return shortly.

The Hay Bay Hideaway exceeded our group's wildest dreams for the perfect End of Summer get-away. We could not have asked for a more peaceful and unique property and home, with exceptionally communicative, helpful, and gracious hosts. Our group of 10 slept comfortably in the 5 bedrooms this historic home offers, indulged in the well stocked pantries, utilized the gorgeous selection of vintage dish-ware, and experienced cozy nights by the beautiful wood stove fireplaces while enjoying a wide array of musical instruments available throughout the home. This property backs onto a private inlet with still, lily pad covered water, visited by blue herons, kingfishers, blue jays and many other woodland friends. We also enjoyed the various watercrafts, including a row boat, pedal boat, and canoe on the open water that connects directly to the small inlet. The experience was incredibly unique, absolutely smooth and accessible, and deeply memorable. A return trip is definitely in the works :)

Beautiful, peaceful, scenic cottage. Cozy and modern inside with a great enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Ample options for sitting outside, and lots of blankets and towels provided. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful through the stay.

A wonderful quiet few days - excellent privacy and on the water. Lots to do in PEC, and lovey to return to Aminah's private and cozy retreat. The place was clean, uncluttered, and perfectly suited our needs. Great fire pit, too. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend with our adult kids - too cold for swimming, but being on the water is still magical.

This was our third time staying in 6 months and will not be last, we’ve felt at home and been able to relax and not worry about anything, the space has everything you need to enjoy you’re stay! Thanks for having us!

The host greeted us upon arrival and had the wood stove already fired up so that the cabin was very cozy for us. Beautiful scenery, easy water access and walking trails close by. A lovely rustic cabin getaway to recharge from the chaos of society with just the right amount of convenient amenities. Will stay again!!

We stayed at Myers Cave Resort for 4 nights with our two kids and had a wonderful time! The cleanliness and comfort of our cottage exceeded our expectations. Our favourite part was that everyone had something to do. We also really enjoyed the canoes, kayaks, paddle boards and boats. Thanks Myers cave! We will be back!

It was a pleasure staying at David's place. David, Brian, and Mikey were all incredibly welcoming and kind. They gave us a brief tour of the house, and it truly feels like a museum! The photos on the website don't do it justice — the property is AMAZING. David was also very attentive and responsive. They even had a small breakfast ready for us. I would love to come back.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin on Marble Lake! The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the lake and environment was gorgeous. A wonderful place to stay for adults or families - we'd love to come back another time. A few things you may want to know about staying here that aren't clear from the listing: -shared waterfront access to Marble Lake is beautiful, and great for swimming or boating - canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available -each cabin has a designated fire pit for campfires - BYO wood or purchase on-site for $15/bag. It was awesome to watch the sun set over the lake by the fire. -planning to grill is a good idea - there is just a small 2-burner hotplate inside the cabin. You can bring your own propane tank or rent one for $40/day or $80/whole trip. -you may also want to bring toilet paper - 2 rolls were provided but guests are responsible for refills -Bon Echo Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive away, and a must-see in my opinion. We were made to feel like family. We have already recommended to friends to visit and have our own plans to return. While there we were encouraged to explore the property, find time on our own, visit and ask questions. The lake views, luxurious accommodations, countless amenities, proximity to touristic destinations, fabulous food and drink is wonderful. With all this, the beautiful property is private and provides the chance to breathe, recharge. Again, the view, the family and location make this airbnb more than an accommodation, it is a destination vacation. Thank you for hosting us!

We stayed here with 6 adults and 5 children and had a wonderful time! The house is quite large and we never felt cramped for space. The house is fully renovated, with lots of high quality upgrades. The backyard is nicely done as well, with lots of room for kids to run around or just to relax and watch the Moira River. Lots of fresh towels, everything was clean and fully stocked, great communication with the host, and flexible check-in and check-out times. There was extra bedding, pillows, games, books, and records. Some of the books and records are inappropriate for children, though, so just double check if you’re staying with little ones before letting them grab whatever they want. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Hands down one of the best cottages we’ve stayed at. Beautiful lakefront location with everything you need and more included with your stay. The sauna was a lovely added touch. Communication was great and the cottage was very clean and finished to a high standard. We’ll be sure to come back one day!

Great place.. KGH,HDH, and Queen’s university are within walking distance. And John is very helpful and was a great host.

My friends and I planned a one-day vacation, and I can say that for such a plan, this cottage is a very good place. It offers picturesque views of the lake and trees, and a peaceful environment where you can only hear birdsong. Also, Andrey was very supportive.

A perfect place for our family to enjoy time together - all generations! Accommodation was perfect for a family. Generous sharing of toys for the children! Absolutely loved the view - and the hot tub, sauna and fire pit helped us create special family memories during spring break. Joanie is a generous host and was super responsive to all of our queries. We really appreciated the family feel of the home alongside the delightful decoration and extra provisions. We would give 6 stars if that was possible! We were truly blessed by our stay. Thank you!

Shannon did an excellent job communicating with us and provided us with picture instructions on how to use the hottub, firepit and remotes for the heat and fireplace. She was aware we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday and was so sweet to leave him a birthday card and chocolates. We were also pleasantly surprised to see she had a snack basket, bottled water, eggs, bagels and food in the cuoboards that we could help ourselves to at no extra cost. She was extremely welcoming and allowed us to take our time checking out. We loved our stay at her beautiful home and highly recommend this place.

Le séjour s’est extrêmement bien déroulé. Attention toutefois à bien programmer son GPS à l’avance pour ne pas se retrouver perdu sur la route, sans réseau ! D’ailleurs, les hôtes vous le feront savoir et vous recommanderont de faire vos emplettes avant de venir, car c’est littéralement « perdu » avec les premières villes à 30mn de route. C’est absolument parfait : loin de tout, calme, au milieu de la nature ! L’observation du ciel étoilé le soir est aisée. La journée, il convient d’écouter le battement des ailes des oiseaux ou le cri d’un animal au loin, au bord du lac. Cet endroit est vraiment reposant, paisible et c’est une sorte de petit paradis perdu dans l’Ontario. Nous avons vraiment adoré ! Et c’était sans compter sur les petites attentions de Kim et Dave : eau fraîche et dégustation des breuvages locaux.
