Chill at the cosy Fisherman's Cottage by the Sea

While away leisurely evenings on the intimate deck with rustic wooden benches at a tranquil cottage in popular Island Wall. Pared-back neutral decor and subtle coastal accents blend with the period features, from barn-style doors, hardwood floors and a wood burner for those cosy nights in. (Please let me know in advance if you want logs ordered) Modern features to compliment, super fast broadband, smart TVs, nest heating. Please note for those with mobility issues these fisherman cottages have steeper stairs than normal and the only bathroom (no shower) is off one of the bedrooms . Our cosy fishermans cottage has everything you will need for a chilled and relaxing stay by the beach. You will enter the cottage through the barn style front door that lead into a small hallway with a fairly steep staircase ( normal for these types of properties) to the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs? The sitting room to the front of the cottage have deep comfortable sofas (separate bed for your dog if required) for watching SKYQ tv or listening to music on the Roberts radio. The cottage is warm and there is a log burner that can be used on a chilly days. The separate dining room has a wooden table that seats 6 people. The large cupboards house crockery and cutlery and the cupboard under the stairs has lounging chairs for the beach. The well equipped kitchen houses a large fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave, washing machine and dryer and a barn style door that leads out to a private walled decking area with seating. Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided. There are 2 large double bedrooms with comfortable brass beds in each room. All windows have modern shutters that block out any light for lie-ins. All fresh white linen and a choice of pillows in either feather, foam or tempura. One bedroom has a wardrobe with hangers and space for cases and both have bedside cabinets and lighting. The second bedroom leads into the bathroom with a roll top bath and shower . Towels, toilet paper, shower gel and lotion are all provided. The famous Windys is 30 seconds from the front door, serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Watch the sunset every evening whilst sipping a cocktails outside the Neptune pub which is directly on the beach . The harbour with its fabulous restaurants and local arts and crafts is less than a 10 minute walk along the beach. Noise can travel between these fishermans cottages, so please be mindful of your neighbours especially when out in the garden.

Enjoying a peaceful setting in the Kent countryside, Copse Corner cottage provides an ideal location for a relaxing holiday and a chance to unwind. The cottage is very well equipped and is furnished to a high standard with access to private patio area overlooking a woodland habitat which enjoys a wide variety of wildlife. Nestled in the Kent countryside you will find this traditional oak framed self-catering hideaway with luxury finishes and beautiful surroundings. With stunning view and the historic village of Chilham just a short walk away, Copse Corner is an ideal location to explore the Garden of England. Set within the 4 acres of the Owners property and adjoining a private woodland and meadow, this is a perfect romantic retreat for a holiday or stolen weekend away and also a wildlife watcher's paradise! Copse Corner features a cosy open plan living/dining/kitchen area with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has a country feel with Smeg induction hob and compact oven/microwave, a small fridge freezer, Nespresso machine with selection of capsules. A further separate utility room is available with a washing machine and laundry facilities. The living area features a wood-burning stove, especially useful on those chilly autumn nights, and a free supply of logs. The comfy seating area is an ideal place to relax and unwind, with a small selection of books and games available. Duck down through the quirky low doors to access the patio which is set in a quiet corner adjacent to the woodland and meadow. The bistro table and chairs offer the perfect spot to enjoy the birdsong and fresh country air, you may even catch a glimpse of the pheasants as well as other wildlife. Maybe take the opportunity to dine al fresco or enjoy breakfast (with the Owners' hens providing the eggs, when available). A dedicated parking space is available near to the Owners property. The Owners live close-by and are on hand should you need them, but otherwise will not disturb your stay. A warm welcome awaits our visitors who we are sure will have a truly memorable holiday. Canterbury is a short car or train journey away. Within easy reach of London (37 minutes by high speed train from St Pancras to Ashford followed by a connection to Chilham Railway station). A peaceful setting to sit back and enjoy, or for those seeking something more energetic, try the walks and cycle routes nearby. A car is not essential for your stay as we are approximately 1 mile from the mainline railway at Chilham. Although trains can be few and far between so please check timetables before deciding on this option.

A Unique Garden House in the heart of the Kent Countryside with views across our 3 acre orchard. Included in your stay is your very own private garden, complete with hot tub & summerhouse to relax in. The property also has private parking plus a secret woodland hideaway. Within walking distance is both Sharsted Wood and Doddington Place Gardens which are great for exploring, plus our local pubs - The Black Lion and The Chequers Inn which are perfect for a spot of lunch or a dinner reservation.

The old school house by the sea

Spacious two bedroom, two bathroom ground floor flat in an old Victorian schoolhouse with beautiful large bright rooms and fully fitted kitchen. Close to the seafront with safe, stony beach that is perfect for sunning or swimming. Whitstable harbour is only a short walk along the seafront or there is an easy bus ride to historic Canterbury with a bus stop along the road. Whitstable is a beautiful town with lots of independent shops/cafes. Fantastic for art and creativity, I am a potter myself.

The style continues out into your own large private garden. It's an 8 minute stroll to the beach/ nature reserve and 5 to the station that has direct links to kent coastal towns & London Victoria. The popular town of Whitstable famous for its oysters, music scene & eclectic shops, pubs & restaurants is a short drive or bus ride away.

A stroll from the Sportsman Restaurant, Oyster Pearl Pub and near lovely Whitstable for shops and restaurants. Perfect in summer with a safe swimming beach meters away and in winter the pleasure of of sea mist, migrating birds and walks on the shore and marshes. Afternoons with a book in front of the fire.

Pebble Cottage - near Whitstable beach

Pebble Cottage is centrally located just off the bustling High Street of Whitstable, with its independent shops, pubs and cafes. The beach is a short stroll away. The cottage is situated on a quiet turn-off and sleeps up to four guests. there are two bathrooms, one en suite. A fully equipped kitchen provides everything you should need for a relaxing break. The patio garden is a sun trap and well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

The Pottery Studio, stylish art-filled light space

Spend an extremely comfortable night in the self-contained accommodation in the studio. Once a stable and subsequently the old pottery, the accommodation has now been completely renovated to provide a peaceful and luxurious bedroom with beautiful super-king bed and ensuite bathroom with a roll-top bath. Downstairs, a wood-burning stove is a cosy addition to the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room.
