In autumn, watch the leaves change from green to hues of red and gold. Enjoy a game of golf at Mountain Glen Golf Club or take a short drive to Grandfather Mountain or Linville Falls, drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway or go hiking or rafting, see the stalactites at Linville Caverns and then come back to appreciate the sunset from the living room window. In winter, enjoy a day of skiing or sledding at nearby Beech Mountain or Sugar Mountain. Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing is also nearby. Return home, build a snowman and enjoy the gas log fireplace which takes the mountain chill off the evenings. Experience our fully appointed kitchen if you choose to eat in or venture out to local restaurants in nearby Linville, Banner Elk, Boone, or even Asheville. Enjoy the Wooly Worm Festival, Valle Crucis Fair, Music on the Mountaintop, Land of OZ, Singing on the Mountain, Highland Games, Shag at Sugar, Oktoberfest at Sugar Mt. Mountain getaway with fantastic views! If traveling in the winter, 4 wheel drive is required if there is potential for snow/ice. Access to the cabin is up a steep road (paved and maintained). The cabin is 15 min from Grandfather mountain hiking trails, 20 min to Sugar mountain skiing, 30 min to Banner Elk and 30 min to Beech Mountain. This 2 bed/2bath cabin includes a loft area for remote work (really good wifi), extra sleeping space, etc. Fully stocked kitchen and high end bed linens!!

The Loft is a 800 SQFT Rustic Urban Design with 1 Bedroom 1 Bath has an open floor plan, Large windows throughout the home with breath taking views of the Mountains and trees surrounding the Property. The Back Porch is totally private with a Sectional Sofa to enjoy the evening breeze or to watch the sunset. Back in side we have a full Kitchen with all amenties of home, Dining Room, Living room with plenty of space to relax and watch TV, And a large Bedroom with adjoining Bathroom.

Clean linens also provided. There are deer in the area, so on your drive up to the house, be mindful of Bambi and his mother. AWD vehicle recommended in the snow.
