Bear's Den is a quaint, cozy cabin with a wood interior, gas fireplace, king bed, full bathroom with a walk in shower, full fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, and all the conveniences you need to have an off-the-beaten path retreat. If you're looking to disconnect and explore the area via foot, bike, skis, snowshoes, or simply have a cabin getaway, this is a great place to spend some time. There is a small TV to stream through your apps in the cabin and wifi to access the internet.

Adjacent to Routt National Forest and the Zirkel Wilderness. Moose, elk, deer, pronghorn, bear, wolf, fox, and many bird species call this special place home. Cabin is an off-grid, dry cabin. Private trails for hiking, biking, xc ski and snowshoe. 4WD or AWD preferred travel in winter. The heat is furnished by a wood stove. Solar powered lights. The composting bathroom is 20 feet away and the shower house a short walk. Water is supplied. Blackstone grill and French press provided.

The Flat is located near a brewery & food truck, yet typically all is quiet after 9pm. There is an additional pet fee, cleaning fee for 10+ days and monthly stays.

Three more miles up the road is Sweetwater Lake and the jump off area for the White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness area. Glenwood Springs is 32 miles down creek/river. Great access to hiking, floating, biking (Glenwood Canyon) and hunting, or best yet relaxing next to a beautiful creek. Brink's Outfitters at Sweetwater Lake has horses and guides for riding.
