It was the perfect place to stay to explore the area

Anna's flat was wonderful. It had everything we needed, was really clean and in a great location. It was only a short walk to the centre of the town, but on a quiet street so we all slept really well in the comfy beds. Anna was very quick to reply to messages and made sure we had everything we needed.

Pictures of the view from the main living room/dining room was what drew me to the property and the reality did not disappoint. The house was very homely, comfortable and Isabella was friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated that there was plenty of comfortable seating for the number of people the house can accommodate to sleep. The dishwasher did not work during our visit which was an inconvenience as we were a large family group who cooked regularly during our visit, so clearing up took significantly more time than we would have liked, but once Isabella was made aware, she did not hesitate to get it seen to as soon as possible. Unfortunately it could not be repaired during our visit but I cannot fault Isabella's reponse to the situation, it was just unfortunate. I would definitely recommend the property; it is clear a lot of thought has gone into the property to make it as comfortable as possible for guest. Thank you.

This place is a real gem with stunning views ! Our family really enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and well equipped! And there was clear and great instructions for everything.

The location was perfect. It’s quite hard to find a place if you don’t make reservations in advance (even in April) so keep that in mind. The place was lovely. And Fiona was very responsive.

We had such a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. I requested some robes for us arriving and the person I spoke to on the phone was lovely and sorted it all for us. It was so peaceful and all secure for our dog and little boy to run around. The hot tub was a great bonus as well! Thank you so much!

Highly recommend this unit. It IS attached to the owners portion of the house and the entrance is not necessarily private. You have to walk around the back of the house and past their back door which is usually open so the dogs can get in and out. At first, this surprised us and we felt a little awkward, but in the end they are super nice, the dogs are amazing and Toby was always there to say hi and bye to us, and we didn't feel uncomfortable at all (and we are fairly private people). We cooked 6 out of 7 dinners at the house. The kitchen was sufficiently appointed. The bedrooms were great, linens were great, bathrooms were great. We took walks from the property and it was really nice. There isn't a destination to walk to, it's just walking in nature. It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest store or restaurant. About 20 minutes to Inverness where there was a Tesco extra that had everything we needed and more. Book without hesitation. Comfortable for up to 5 ppl.

Lovely family cottage in beautiful surroundings! Well equipped, comfortable and cosy cottage within the stunning grounds of St Benedict’s abbey. Having the facilities such as the swimming pool, gym and play park for the children was a real bonus. Lovely dog walks nearby and very close to lots of different cafes, restaurants and easy access to walk along the Caledonian canal.

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here, and had a great time exploring the area. the space was easy to relax in, and had many options within a close walk. thanks for a great stay!

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

Beautiful spot at the end of Loch Ness. The cottage has all the amenities you’d need and was spotless and very quiet. Elena the host was on hand for the arrival and provided a tour of the Abbey. Also very responsive if we had any queries whilst staying. Plenty of walking in the area. Good selection of food available locally from take outs, cafes, pubs or more formal dining. If you want to self cater the kitchen is well equipped and the local supermarket although relatively small has plenty to choose from.

Julie and James are a lovely couple and their property is absolutely perfect for anyone looking to stay in this stunning part of Scotland. Highly recommend to anyone to book this if you get the chance.

Perfect place for two nights of peace. Loved the view, pod and fireplace and everything just as described. Great walking up the glen and village close enough to ride to the pub!

Stayed with Elizabeth for a couple of days due to a hospital appointment in Inverness. Elizabeth's place was perfect! just 20 minutes from Inverness centre, but super peaceful in gorgeous grounds...with an amazing collection of rare breed chickens and geece and Bengal kittens. Elizabeth clearly wants her guests to have the best stay and goes above and beyond to make that happen. Certain we will be back 😊

The Snug was a wonderful place to stay. It was very comfortable, warm and cosy, with lots of lovely touches - the electric blankets were particularly appreciated! The kitchen is good for simple meals and the bathroom was enormous. It was very peaceful and the location was beautiful, with lovely walks nearby and beautiful landscapes in every direction. It's very homely and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. There are some lovely walks from around Newtonmore. Check-in and check-out was really easy which was great as we had a very long drive to get there. Caroline's instructions were also really clear. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

A great location to explore Skye. The house is very close to the sea, overlooking the water and the surrounding mountains. Exceptional views from the veranda. Cosy livingroom and a good equipped kitchen. Good bathroom and bedroom. Parking on site. Ann send us accurate directions to get there. We felt quite at home.

Das wohl schönste Air BnB auf Skye ( und in Schottland ). Eine wunderschöne Aussicht direkt vor der Haustüre - egal zu welcher Tages oder Nachtzeit. Ein Fernglas steht in der Unterkunft bereit zum Tiere beobachten. Die Unterkunft an sich bietet alles was man braucht & die Gastgeber stellen von sich aus so viele Sachen zur Verfügung wie frische Eier von eigenen Hühnern. Auch im Bad ist alles vorhanden und super sauber. Besonders nett war noch der tägliche Whisky vom Hausherren - alles überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich und deswegen umso schöner. Super tolle Menschen, die einen auch bei der Anreise "abholen" sodass man den richtigen Weg findet. Super Ausgangslage für Ausflüge. Wir waren dort zwei Nächte, wären noch gerne länger geblieben und kommen hoffentlich mal wieder vorbei. Die Unterkunft kann man von Herzen empfehlen und sollte man unbedingt buchen wenn man nach Skye kommt - alleine schon wegen der Aussicht!
