Bracken Barn is situated on a hill overlooking Cuil Bay and Loch Linnhe, with views stretching down the Morvern Peninsula, past the small islands of Balnagowan, Shuna and Lismore…and all the way to the Isle of Mull. Recently converted from an agricultural shed, it is now an extremely comfortable holiday home – a silk purse from a sow’s ear! The high-ceilinged sitting room has a wood-burning stove and with large picture windows, guests will surely never tire of the ever-changing loch views.

We provide information for local walks and hidden gems, local restaurants and pubs. We provide free parking and storage if you arrive by bike.

Coachman's Bothy - 50m from the beach

Situated on the beautiful Airds Estate in Port Appin and 5 minutes walk from Port Appin's excellent restaurants. This is a self contained loft (there are stairs) in a 300 year old farm building. It is 50m from the beach with direct access to the beach. There is no public road between you and the shoreline - it's very private! The views are spectacular and the kitchen is very well equipped. Perfect for hiking or skiing the mountains, kayaking to the seal colony or cycling and walking.

We would like to welcome you to Craigrowan Croft where we have a charming 2 bedroom self-catering cottage called An Sean Tigh (The Old House). It has one double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with separate bath and shower and a lovely kitchen / dining / living area. It benefits from under floor heating throughout and a cosy multifuel stove to cuddle up in front of. It is only a 5 minute walk to the local shops and a 10 minute walk to 3 lovely restaurants and a cosy pub.

“Tobar nan Iasgair” means “Well of the fisherman”, for centuries, fishing boats would anchor here to fill up with fresh water. It’s a spacious family home, there's a large sitting / dining room with wonderful views across Loch Linnhie, Benderloch, Ben Cruachan, and to the ferry terminal, and Island's, comings and goings. Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

The Little House is a charming self contained cottage standing in its own grounds surrounded by its garden. The beach is within 3 minutes walking distance. There are plenty of local walks and many more further afield. The Little House is surrounded by farm land, with sheep and cows grazing. The entrance is through a gate and there is ample parking. Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
