A lovely converted farm building nestled in a picturesque location with far-reaching views of the loch and mountains beyond. Striking distance (relatively speaking!) to Oban heading south and heading north - Fort William. Top-notch food available nearby at the Airds Hotel, Port Appin and the Old Inn. Ralph couldn't be more responsive to messages and the on-site estate worker (and family!) couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at the house. Everything was nice and clean and it has a front garden that gets the sun all evening which was nice to sit out in. Short walking distance to the centre of Oban too. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay at Elaine’s lovely caravan! The location was stunning, right by the river, and incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The caravan itself was super cute, spotlessly clean, and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. It’s clear that Elaine has decorated it with a lot of thought and care; it felt cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Elaine was a fantastic host—so helpful and responsive. Even though she was out and busy, she replied immediately when we had a puncture and kindly gave us the contact for a local garage. She also sent detailed directions in advance which made finding the place really easy. Inside, she had prepared a very well-maintained file with all the information we needed for our stay, including local recommendations and important safety info. We had zero issues during our stay, and all of us absolutely loved the place. We’re already looking forward to coming back and would 100% recommend it to anyone!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The place was super cosy and the beds very comfortable. Kitchen has lots of amenities! Location was top tier, only a 15 minute walk to the ferry port to Isle of Iona. Rachel and Matt were super friendly and helpful hosts and very responsive. They kindly came to pick us up when our car broke down on day 1! Highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely great. So clean, top location about 10 mins from (too) busy Oban, lovely touches like real pot plants and local art, and a fab view from the very comfy living room. Kitchen super-well equipped with lots of basics like herbs etc. Interesting walk down to the Falls of Lora, where the loch water rushes under the bridge on the turning tide. This cottage is in an amazing location. The views from the living room were outstanding at every time of day. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space to relax. Despite its remote location (which makes it so peaceful) there is plenty to do, with walks to wild places, boat trips and even a little bistro restaurant (Elgol Bistro) offering lovely food. We loved staying here.
