Had a great stay here for two nights. Amenities were great and we especially loved the kitchenette and hot tub. Bed was comfortable. Very easy to get to the ferry to Skye which is what brought us to the area.

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

This was our favorite stay of our trip to London and Scotland. The apartment is on the top two floors with a wrap-around deck on three sides, offering views of Loch Ness and the surrounding hillside. The kitchen has a large Aga stove, which is perfect in the winter for heating and drying out clothing from rainy adventures. The whole Abbey looks like a Harry Potter movie set, which tied into our other stops on the trip. We used the game rooms at night, and it was a quick walk down a path to town. A real person checks you in and gets you all settled, which is great because we were a little concerned about how to find our unit. This stay was everything we love about an AirBNB over a hotel.

What an amazing place! Beautiful, quiet, in the middle of nowhere but within half an hour of the best shellfish ever (Arisaig), a supermarket, the ferry at Mallaig and the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The nature in this area is almost too beautiful to describe. Lush green mountains, beautiful lochs, white (and some empty) beaches, forrest, all we were looking for. The apartment itself looks exactly like what it is, part of a manor. A small but cozy kitchen (with a double oven in which we made a roast dinner), good beds, great shower and a big living room with coaches and sofas and a wood burner for chilly Highland nights. We (a family of four plus dog) loved it!

The apartment was perfect: luxurious yet cosy, very well appointed and in the best location, overlooking Loch Ness. The surroundings are breathtaking, we walked part of the South Loch Ness Trail and the Great Glenn Way, both well signposted and well maintained. It was a great short holiday, many thanks.

Our second time staying here. On arrival we were greeted by Mike who showed us around. Lovely apartment with views onto the Cloisters. We made use of the amenities onsite, and enjoyed the stunning views and historic location. We had a wonderful stay once again.

El apartamento estaba genial. tenian una perrita preciosa y fueron muy amables. El apartamento estaba abierto y la llave dentro tal y como nos dijeron. Aparcamiento en la misma puerta. Piso equipado. No hay restaurantes cerca, has de bajar al pueblo, 5 min en coche. Todo fabuloso, zona super tranquila. Lo recomiendo muchisimo!

Beyond what we expected! What a perfect place to relax after a day exploring Skye! Dorothy was a great host and we will be back.

Anna's flat was wonderful. It had everything we needed, was really clean and in a great location. It was only a short walk to the centre of the town, but on a quiet street so we all slept really well in the comfy beds. Anna was very quick to reply to messages and made sure we had everything we needed.

Breathtaking location. Gorgeous views out every window. Very peaceful. Stanislaw and Lilian were extremely helpful and quick to respond to all questions. There was a beautiful basket of goodies awaiting us and croissants dropped off from the local bakery. We were treated like treasured guests. We were able to make 2 day trips into the Isle of Skye. This location is so close to Malaig ferry. We were able to get onto the 11 am ferry on stand by. We were there at the end of Sept and passed peak season. We ate lunch at excellent restaurant, The Cabin, Malaig. Outstanding seafood and service! We had a bit of an adventure. On our last day on Skye our rental car was starting to run low on fuel. We opted to skip stop at petrol station to catch ferry. There is a petrol station in Malaig very close to the ferry drop off, unattended, but open 24 hrs for credit pay at pump. All pumps were out of service. No other gas available for 40 mi. VERY NICE person at Arisaig hotel gave us gallon of gas!!!

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

Beautiful and peaceful location ideal base for exploring area. Accomodation is first class, the Edwardian wing is spacious and tastefully decorated with every facility you may need. Our hosts Damon and Renate were very welcoming and easy to contact. I would recommend them without hesitation to my closest friends and family and will definitely revisit in the future.

What a peaceful cute cozy home, the mini fire place did a great job keeping us cozy. Home like environment and more than we needed. Beautiful short walk to beach and sunset was beautiful nightly. Private bedrooms and comfy clean bedding and towels. Home is a bit old and creaky floors but that was part of the cute comfortable feel of home. If you are looking for private quiet home, this is perfectly comfortable. We travelled entire island and this location did add about an extra hour to each day. Single road in was fine, sheep on either side, hardly another car seen in April.

Wir hatten als Familie (eine Tochter, 4 Jahre) einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Pinemarten Chalet. Die Unterkunft ließ von Ausstattung und Lage nichts zu wünschen übrig und war idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen in den südlichen Highlands. Mit dem Mietwagen sind viele verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (kleinere Shops aller Art beim Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, größerer Supermarkt in Killin), Startpunkte für Wanderungen und andere Ausflugsziele gut erreichbar. Der kleine Laden im Portnellan Holiday-Park (mit mehreren Häusern in verschiedenen Größen) bietet zudem auf kurzem Fußweg das Nötigste auch auf kurzem Fußweg und Ausleih-Möglichkeiten für Bücher, Spiele und Filme. Die Ausstattung war perfekt, der Blick auf den Ben More von der Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit und bei (fast) jedem Wetter einfach traumhaft. Die Kommunikation mit Lucy und Cameron klappte hervorragend, sogar Eier von Enten und Hühnern konnten direkt bestellt werden ;). We'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Glenelg. The cottage was as described. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views from the garden and every window. Murdoch rang on our arrival which was lovely and we knew we could contact him if needed.

Had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cosy and exactly as described. Check-in was simple, and the location was easy to find. Loved the thoughtful extras like tea, coffee, sugar, and complimentary Netflix. It was also fantastic I could bring my dog along for the trip. A peaceful and comfortable stay - I’d happily return!

The Old Covent is a wonderful place to stay in ! Our hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Everything was perfect and very nicely furbished. I highly recommend you take the time to stay there !

We are just back home after a short break in Lochaline. It really is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view across the water to Mull. The house was fully accessible with parking right outside the door, all on one level and an easily accessible shower. Very much needed for me as I’m disabled and it can be so hard to find suitable places to stay. The house was very clean with a great selection of utensils and supplies like fairy and dishwasher tablets. I highly recommend a stay at Lesley’s place!

We absolutely loved stopping here we felt so comfortable Chris and felicity greeted us on arrival they were so helpful went through everything in the apartment they gave great advice on where to eat and what to go see there was a welcome file with lots of information about the history of the area restaurants and things to see and do with great directions. leaflets in the draws of things to do it’s in a perfect spot to explore. The Apartment was very clean extremely well decorated (felicity you have great taste in decor) and spacious the kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook (we didn’t ) it’s about 8-10 minutes walk to the main resort if you want to eat and drink out same distance to do the Loch Ness for the cruise. Bathroom was spacious and very clean same with the bedroom the bed was very comfortable. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again thank you for having us Chris and felicity From Steph & Steve

Wonderful stay. Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Host Alan went above and beyond and was super helpful, friendly and accommodating.

It is really convenient to able to charge the EV overnight & get on your next day visit in the surrounding area. We love the mountains view & we have enjoyed our stay.
