Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Great place to stay - city centre is a short walkable distance, but the immediate surroundings are peaceful and quiet (though there was a birthday party next door at some point, the guests were noisy up until 00:20, but not too critical for us). There were even toiletries and tea/coffee available which is usually not the case with Airbnbs. Would recommend to everyone for any number of days - both for a short and longer stay.

We were a family of 5 and spent 3 nights in Rachel’s apartment. Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Location is excellent. A couple mins to tram and easy walk to all the sights. Near lots of places to eat too and a Tesco express just around the corner. There were boxes of toys in the app which were great for entertaining our 5 year old. Rachel had everything labelled so you know where everything is and how everything works. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

Robert's place is in the perfect location for exploring Oban and the surrounding areas! It's a lovely apartment, with excellent views, and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very easy to get to from the train, and Robert was a delightful host. Would definitely recommend!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Andy was a great host – very friendly and always quick to reply to our messages. We especially appreciated the convenient location, being only a 6-minute drive from the train station. The free parking there was a real bonus, and the 25-minute train journey to Edinburgh city center made exploring the city very easy. It's a perfect base for visiting Edinburgh!

We had a lovely stay and will definitely book again when we come back to Edinburgh. The space was nice and very comfortable and the location was perfect for us.

We have stayed at Burnside several times. It is a large warm, comfortable house and has easy access for our elderly father. The large picture window makes the most of the beautiful loch view. This is a great place for walking on Skye, Applecross, Killin and nearby. The large front, well kept lawn is enclosed and was greatly appreciated by my dog! We had an amazing time and had almost perfect warm and sunny weather all week! We'll undoubtedly be back.

This is a good base for exploring the Trossachs. The house is comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious accommodation (we were there as three couples). Although it’s on the main road through town, it was very quiet at night. Aaron is a friendly and helpful host and we had a great time here.

Perfect accomodation for our requirements for a 4 night stay. Extremely clean and tidy. Extra touches like the ‘forgot me’ basket in the bathroom, milk in the fridge, plenty tea, coffee and biscuits were a treat and most welcome. Blackout blinds in the bedrooms and peaceful location made for a good night’s sleep. Walkable distance to the High street although a little steep for anyone who may have any mobility issues.

This is let is worth a visit if you are a family or in a group. It's a peaceful location with off-road parking. We all had a room to ourselves and there are nice places to relax in the house. We were able to walk 5 minutes to the tram stop and be in Edinburgh centre in 20 minutes or so. You can make the best of Edinburgh when staying. Usman is very hospitable and will meet and show you round himself. He communicated well for us and was flexible with when we could check in. This proved very helpful on the day! I would recommend staying here, it's a nice place.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Glencoe. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, das Haus zu finden (Google Maps zeigte ein falsches Gebäude an) lief der Check-in einfach und unkompliziert. Super waren die zur Verfügung gestellten Waschmaschine und Trockner. Alice war immer freundlich und schnell zu erreichen. Alles in allem eine wunderbare Erfahrung.

Fiona was a wonderful host, very proactive and friendly. Beautiful fresh flowers and coffee, tea and biscuits were a lovely touch. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the views over the loch were lovely. There were also lots of good games and puzzles. The overall cleanliness could have been improved, in particular the kitchen but didn't detract from our stay. Thank you Fiona

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

What a gem of a place. Perfect location for our spa day at Gleneagles. Beautifully appointed, the beds were so comfortable and we got the best sleep. Everything you could need for a stay away.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

The flat was exactly as pictured and described in the AirBnB listing. It's a large, clean, and modern space in an historic building with beautiful views. The large windows overlook the bay and there are custom shutters that close over the windows to keep the chill out. The kitchen and bath appear to be very new and are well-appointed with a huge living / kitchen space that we (two couples) enjoyed. Bedrooms were also large and comfortable. Check in was incredibly easy and check out was simple compared to other AirBnB's. Plenty of information about the flat and the surrounding area was provided via .pdfs and the shortbread cookies were a nice treat. Would be great to have an extra blanket in the larger bedroom since we were not very good at sharing the full size duvet! Also, as described in the listing, the flat is on the top floor and there is no elevator, be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs.

Great flat in a great location, with very receptive hosts. Bathrooms could do with a really deep clean- that’s the only negative.

Me ha gustado que Dora contestara pronto a mis dudas. El apartamento es tal cual se anuncia, muy limpio y la cocina muy amplia y con todo el menaje que necesitas. Solo a tres paradas de tranvía para llegar al centro, y lo bueno que el tranvía llega hasta al aeropuerto. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Muchas gracias Dora!!

Paul’s apartment was perfect for our stay and easily accommodated 5 of us comfortably. Everything needed for our stay was provided and Paul’s availability to answer any queries went above and beyond. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be just a short distance from the busy hustle and bustle of Edinburgh centre but close enough to get there easily and quickly. My family and I loved our stay here! The apartment was clean and spacious, located in a lovely part of town. When we couldn’t figure out the heating and messaged Sarah at 9pm for help she responded quickly and was kind enough to come over and get it working for us. She even brought my parents a space heater for their room to make them more comfortable. Overall a very enjoyable stay with an excellent host. Thank you so much, Sarah!
