Our much loved holiday home on Loch Tay is set in Scotland's most spectacular scenery, sited on the Heart 200 Road Trip through Perthshire. We are lucky to have a private shore, where you can sit amidst the rocks and trees, make a campfire or paddle in the loch . Rock Cottage's lounge with log burning stove is an ideal place to return to after taking part in outdoor sporting activities. Our grounds offer play, picnic and water areas. It is a great place to read or relax and watch the wildlife.

Loch Tay- Quiet log cabin, private hot tub & sauna

Birchwood Lodge is a log cabin just above the banks of Loch Tay and in the shadow of the Ben Lawers range of Munros, in Highland Perthshire. It features an open plan design with under floor heating. There's a comfortable double bed, shower room, private hot tub & sauna, gas BBQ, free wifi, DVD player, Sky TV with movies and sports & SONOS music system. We have a private beach with gazebo across the road (shared only when we are at our holiday house), and a Canadian Canoe available for guests.

The Tower, Thornton Castle

Traditional & relaxed accommodation in the 16th century Scottish tower of our family home. Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. This is a modern spacious wooden lodge with a stunning lakeside position. Patio doors from lounge and master bedroom open onto the large furnished decking. From there, you can see wildlife, such as Hooper swans, Canada geese, oyster catchers, ducks and deer, with the mountain of Schiehallion beyond. 3 large bedrooms (master with Super Kingsize bed) each with an ensuite. An idyllic base for exploring the scenic heart of Perthshire and its pretty towns of Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and Kenmore.

West Cottage is a typical Scottish country cottage among mountains in beautiful Glenlyon. It's semi-detached from our own house with its own entrance. Beautiful, interesting interior with thousands of books. Central heating and wood burning stove. Original range in kitchen, two double bedrooms with a double bed each, both with an extra single bed. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge. Overlooking a bird feeding area with frequent visits from red squirrels.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
