Nous avons passé un week-end en famille dans le logement de Stéphanie en décembre. La maison était exactement ce que nous recherchions et plus encore : Très bien entretenue, équipée, spacieuse, propre, lumineuse, calme ... L'espace de vie (salon principe, salle à manger /cuisine) est très agréable et nous a permis de passer de super moments en famille. Il y a également un carrefour market à 10 minutes en voiture pour de petites courses. Nous n'avons eu aucun souci pour trouver les lieux. Stéphanie est joignable facilement. Nous recommandons ! Merci Stéphanie pour ce week-end !

Beautiful gite in a fantastic location with lots of character. Well equipped with large fridge freezer, Nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, new cooker and plenty of crockery and cooking equipment. Swimming pool was very well used in the sweltering temperatures. Pleasant outside eating area with lots of birds, wildlife and views to watch. Excellent host who was very helpful and friendly. Good wifi. Lots of activities to do nearby.

Notre séjour fut court mais très agréable. L'emplacement est idéal pour se ressourcer. Le lieu est entouré d'arbres et de bâtiments centenaires et notre hôtesse fut disponible et accueillante. Le logement est dans un bâtiment ancien, avec quelques précautions à prendre, mais combiné avec toutes les commodités modernes (cuisine équipée, lave-linge...) et avec un bon feu de cheminée, ce fut idéal !

Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad op het kasteel! Jerome en Charlotte zijn hele hartelijke en vriendelijke mensen. Ze verstaan hun vak als gastheer en gastvrouw! Wij hebben Frankrijk echt op een mooie manier leren kennen. Prachtige omgeving, fijne avonden met de andere gasten. Wijn proeverijen, BBQ, massage, heerlijk zwembad erbij, leuke dieren, je kunt veel informatie over de omgeving krijgen van ze. Wij hebben erg genoten en een mooie Franse herinnering.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. Les propriétaires sont d’une gentillesse remarquable, discrets mais très réactifs, le château est fidèle à sa description, facile d’accès et très bien entretenu. Les enfants ont pu gambader, nous avons pu profiter d’un temps exceptionnel et déjeuner dehors. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation, c’est une adresse qu’il faut conserver pour ses réunions de famille ou entre amis.

Our family of four - with 2 kids ages 10 and 9 - loved staying at Chateau Fontenay's garden cottage. We loved being on the beautiful grounds of the Chateau. The pool was perfect! The kids loved playing ping pong outdoors near the pool and loved having access to the bikes (many to choose from so that we all found bikes to fit us!) for a ride along the Cher (a bike path runs right along the front of the property) to the boulangerie in the morning. The location is perfect for visiting Chenonceau and so many other chateaux. It was a quick drive to Amboise for dinner (although we also had a lovely dinner in Blere) and well-placed for a trip to Loches for the Wednesday morning market. Nathalie was so kind to write out a long list of suggested restaurants for us to try out in the area. We ate well! The cottage is rustic, but clean and had everything we needed, including a little laundry shed out back. We ate mostly breakfasts at the cottage, but there was also a grill if we had wanted to cook dinner for ourselves and a nice table to sit outside. The grassy area between us and the other cottage was good for our son to run and play football. We wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again!

Nous sommes arrivés après une visite du château de Chambord situé à 10 minutes du logement. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par Géraldine qui nous a montré le logement ainsi qu'une place de parking donnant accès directement sur la propriété. Logement très propre et fidèle aux descriptions. Tout nous a été expliqué pour le logement, et le petit déjeuner compris dans la prestation. Un vrai accueil par la maîtresse des lieux qui nous a également conseillé sur les alentours (épicerie et restaurant) . Nous sommes restés une nuit à 4 (1 couple plus deux enfants) et le logement nous a été suffisant pour cette petite halte. Nuit très calme (pas de circulation aux abords) et nous avons profité de la terrasse en soirée. Si vous êtes dans la région, n'hésitez pas, je recommande pour l'accueil et le rapport qualité / prix de la prestation.

Demeure bien adaptée à un séjour familial d’une vingtaine de personnes ( parents, enfants, conjoints, petits enfants). Elle a fait l’unanimité. La décoration avec un p’tit sapin et quelques guirlandes ont été un plus bienvenu à l’ambiance festive. France a été très réactive et d’un contact très agréable.

A fantastic family chateau that accommodated 3 families comfortably, and even nicer in real life than in the photos. Large well kept grounds and loads of space to explore. There is plenty to do in the local area. Basic amenities within a few minutes' drive including a great riverside bistro in Daon, the nearby large town of Chateau-Gontier is 15 mins away while Angers is around 40 mins away for everything a city provides. Highly recommended!

Wow! This place was truly magic and way beyond our expectations. The chateau was perfectly well furnished with great taste. But more impressive were the grounds around the chateau. The views from the windows are incredible, with very old beautiful trees, grassland, a river, like paintings! We took every day walks of several kilometers among those trees within the property, with total silence. Sometimes we biked in the property. On top of this, there is a nice swimming pool and a playing room that our daughter loved, and the river where we could go with a canoe. We stayed here around 3 weeks and plan to return.

Ons verblijf in het kleine kasteeltje in de Loire Vallei met twee Nederlandse families was niets minder dan geweldig. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, werden we hartelijk verwelkomd en was er een heerlijke ontvangstmand vol met lokale producten. Dit gebaar was de start van een onvergetelijke vakantie. De accommodatie zelf was schitterend. Klassieke details, een up-to-date keuken en het kasteel was keurig schoon. We hebben genoten van het prachtige weer en het grote zwembad. De rustige omgeving en de mooie uitzichten droegen bij aan een gevoel van complete ontspanning. Een van de hoogtepunten van ons verblijf was het diner dat speciaal voor ons werd bereid. We hebben genoten van een culinair hoogstandje in de prachtige eetzaal, een ervaring die ons echt het gevoel gaf van een diner op stand. Daarnaast hebben we gedurende ons verblijf kunnen genieten van de heerlijke regionale wijnen. Al met al een verblijf om aan te bevelen.

Séjour agréable dans un joli cadre! Nous avons bien profité en famille du calme de l'environnement.

La maison de Rajah est bien agréable, idéale pour une famille de 4 personnes. L’accès direct au parc du château est très appréciable après un long voyage en voiture !

Un gîte plein de charme, parfaitement équipé et idéal pour accueillir un groupe comme le nôtre (nous étions 7). L’hôte a été très réactif et arrangeant, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit, mais nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps tant l’endroit est accueillant. Je recommande sans hésitation.

Magnifique château que nous avons réservé pour un enterrement de vie de garçon chic. Effet waouh garanti. Le lieu est extrêmement propre , l’électroménager est solide dans la cuisine. Beaucoup de vaisselle pour accueillir les groupes. Les chambres sont immenses et les matelas très confortable. Les salles de bain sont très agréable également. L’ensemble est vraiment bien entretenu, les espaces extérieurs aussi. C’est un très bon rapport qualité prix. Mention spéciale à Céu qui nous a chaleureusement accueilli. Je recommande la boulangerie Agape située à 10 minutes en voiture.

What needs to be said about staying in a chateau?! Incredible experience for our family, very cool to be able to stay somewhere people come to tour. We really liked it and found it quite comfortable. The suite was very large - like an entire home. The internet and cell reception were intermittent, so touching base back home or accomplishing any work was difficult/impossible. But the experience is something I can certainly recommend!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Château des Hommes. L’environnement est très beau et les hôtes d’une grande gentillesse. Albine et toute sa famille font tout pour que vous passiez un magnifique séjour. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et la literie est très bonne. Nous avons adoré et nous reviendrons avec plaisir! 🥰

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Albine's place, it was beautiful and relaxing. Exactly what we needed! Her husband and her were accommodating and attentive to our needs, we had a really nice time. Definitely would like to return one day!

Nous avons séjournes deux nuits. Tout s’est très bien passé. L’heure d’arrivée est flexible et malgré l’heure d’arrivée tardive, Branka nous a attendu afin de nous recevoir. Branka est très à l’écoute et toujours disponible et au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est parfait. Il ne manque rien. Du salé, du sucré avec des produits frais. Rien à redire.

Stunning building in a beautiful gardens and a delightful, peaceful village. Valérie could not have been more helpful. It’s hard to describe how beautiful the grounds were. The photos don’t do it justice. And my kids loved the pool table in what has to be the coolest attic conversion in the Loire valley.

Magnifique séjour dans la belle suite King qui château de la Bainerie !! La vie de château était au rendez vous …. La grandeur de la chambre et de la salle de bain , la luminosité avec trois grandes baies , la literie …. Tout étaient impeccable . Des qu’on arrive on se sent chez soi … au château !! Notre hôte est très discrète et toujours là quand il faut . Je recommande . Le temps d’un week end très belle expérience ….

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation! Loved every minute of our stay and felt totally spoilt being able to use the pool and relax in the gardens whenever we wanted. Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to unwind. Highly recommended, we will be back!

When I reached out to Albine, to give her an ETA, she messaged back soon. She was very welcoming, with clear instructions for entering the room and breakfast. Our room was a large comfortable space with good light, screened windows to let the clean country air into our room. We kept the windows open the entire stay to hear crickets, birds, thunder and rainstorm. Beautiful countryside estate with castle ruins on the property to explore. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but Albine had placed "pool towels" in our room, just in case. As a guest, you need to know, you are really in the country. The closest town that we frequented was Langeais and Villandry, with each having at least one chateau to visit and plenty of restaurants, chocolate shops, bakeries, and casual places to get a drink and a french style sandwich. This was a good base to do our daily exploring. Albine had many suggestions and knows the history of the area extremely well. Thank you Albine. Hope to visit soon!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet authentique château de la Bainerie. L'arrivée est autonome et facile; de nombreuses pièces sont ouvertes permettant de découvrir le château. Celui-ci étant assez immense le coût d entretien est j imagine élevé, et nous sommes donc heureux d avoir pu humblement y participer par ce séjour insolite.
