We throughly enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be coming back to this spot! The cottage itself was super cozy and very clean. The location is wonderful and a quick walk to the beach and other locations. It was exceptionally quiet as well.

If you are a couple or a solo traveler with a pet this is the place to stay in Long Beach. The hosts are very quick to respond. I had 1 minor issue and they resolved it immediately. Stay here and take the short 5 minute walk to the beach or boardwalk or 5 min walk into the town of Long Beach with restaurants, shops etc. When you are done for the day chill in the fenced back yard with the fire pit or the sauna. A really enjoyable place to stay and I would stay here again.

This home was incredible! We had such an amazing stay. The house was super clean and had so many fun things to do we barely left the house. The amenities were great. Beautiful view from the Hot tub and fire pit. Robes for after I got out of the bath. A comfy bed. My favorite part was the updated and fully stocked kitchen. It was so easy to feel like home. 10/10 we will be back!

We had a great time! Very close to the beach and shops. We loved being able to walk everywhere.

Wonderful place with everything a person could need. Such a nice short walk to the beach for kite flying, clam digging or just a beautiful stroll. We enjoyed every minute of our weekend. Joel was so kind and helpful with things to do and places to eat. Home and property were so cozy, us and our pup felt right at home. We will definitely be returning. One of my favorite stays.

Shacktown House was the perfect getaway for our family! We loved how close it was to both the beach and town—just a short walk to everything we needed. The home’s surfing aesthetic gave it a great vibe, and the new modern kitchen made cooking easy and enjoyable. Traveling with a young family, we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the crib, stroller, and fun selection of family games. It made our stay so much more comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay if you are looking for something cozy! Access to the beach with a short walk or 30 sec drive. Also restaurant with great clam chowder is right on the same property. The house comes with excellent instruction and a nice little guid for guests to know what to do. Each little bungalow comes with its own theme! We stayed in the beachside. And it was so cute! This one came with everything you could think to make your stay comfortable and the bed and pillows where just as comfy! The host was very nice and checked on us (with a text) to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything we needed :) great valentines weekend for me and my man! We will be staying again

We instantly fell at home. We actually booked it after we had some emergency leaks at our fifth wheel at a RV location. Linda got right back to us and got us all set up to stay. Us and our dogs. Our girls loved it so much and my husband and I felt at ease. They had everything you would need to cook meals at home and take care of your dogs. We loved it so much we already booked it for a week in the summer. Oh and the location was perfect! Close to the beach

I regret not staying here longer, Abdo's house is lovely, spacious and clean. It is the perfect base from which to explore Astoria and the surrounding area and there is lots to discover.
