Our stay was very comfortable and it's very easy to get to the golf course, which was our main requirement. Also there's plenty to do in Fife on the non-golf days. Bernie and Nicola were very responsive and helpful.

Pirn Haugh studio has a large comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage, seating, table and TV with an en-suite shower room off. A galley kitchen sits at the front of the space at the private entrance. It's a short walk into Innerleithen with various shops, eateries and pubs available. A transport link by bus is available towards Edinburgh and Galashiels. There are plenty of walking, hiking and cycle routes at this location as well as an excellent 9 hole golf course at the North of the town.

John was very friendly and we chatted to him in his beautiful garden on arrival. The accomodation was great and very private as separate from the main house. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was great as it was already in the kitchen on arrival which worked with our early checkout.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr besonders. Tim besitzt ein schlossartiges Anwesen in einem Park mit schönen alten Bäumen und einer herrschaftlichen Auffahrt. Vor dem Haus befindet sich ein gepflegter riesiger Rasen mit Gartenmöbeln, die zum Verweilen bei schönem Wetter einladen. Auf dem riesigen Grundstück stehen außer Sichtweite andere Häuser, die wohl früher der Landwirtschaft dienten? Noch heute kommen manchmal Pfaue auf das Grundstück und auch einige Rehe haben wir gesehen. Das Apartment ist stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns am ersten Tag sogar einige Eier von ihrer eigenen Hühnern geschenkt! Die Unterkunft können wir sehr empfehlen. Allerdings ist die Anreise mit dem Auto oder Mietwagen empfehlenswert, weil das Anwesen am Stadtrand von Dundee liegt und man erstmal ein paar hundert Meter durch das Grundstück fahren muss, um zum Balmuir House zu gelangen.

We stayed at Tatu’s annex for a few days and had a lovely experience. Although the host lives just next door, we barely noticed and had complete privacy throughout our stay. Tatu was incredibly helpful and friendly from the start—he personally talked us through the check-in process, showed us how to unfold the sofa bed, and even recommended which bus to take into the city. The annex itself is cosy, clean, and quiet—perfect for a relaxing break. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essential utensils and appliances, making it easy to prepare simple meals. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature, which was a real plus. Getting to the city by bus was quick and straightforward. Tatu even helped us by giving clear instructions to back out our car—much appreciated! Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-kept spot with a thoughtful host.

Great accommodation and lovely hosts. Perfect spot for the endless local mountain biking, walking, coffee and cakes. Wish we had stayed another week!

Lavender Cottage is amazing! I rented it for one month but could have easily kept living there much longer. It's very cozy and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bed and shower were excellent. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Everything you could possibly need to prepare your own meals is there. The best part of the whole place is probably the sun room. On a sunny day you can sit there in a T-shirt even if it's cold and windy outside! My wife joined me for 10 days and it was quite comfortable for the two of us, but I do think that the space would be a bit tight for four people (what it is listed for). Sheena is the most amazing host. She always responded quickly to questions and was happy to give local recommendations. Knowing that I would arrive with jetlag, she even placed an initial small supply of food in the kitchen! Two minor inconveniences are the lack of an outlet plug in the bathroom and the hard-to-reach kitchen faucet. But overall I highly recommend it.

Lynn and I had a wonderful stay with super host 5 star service provided. Studio was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Can’t thank the host’s enough, you bet we will return!

We had a wonderful stay. Lesley Ann's place is spotlessly clean, with lovely furnishings. Lovely welcome basket which was a nice surprise. We even had a visit from the Easter Bunny! Rothbury near by is a lovely place. This was a convenient place for us with the various places we wanted to visit in Northumberland (Kielder, Hadrian's wall, Thrunton woods, the coast). Thank you very much Lesley Ann, we will certainly book again next time we return to Northumberland.

Julie is a warm, helpful host. The accommodation is very tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable. Very welcome respite while visiting family nearby. It couldn't be better. Her new bathroom and shower is fabulous!

I wish I could’ve given this place five stars from the first night we stayed! They helped us get tee times because our phones weren’t able to make any calls. They gave us so many recommendations and helped us feel right at home! Sara and Matt were amazing hosts and their family was just so kind. We would love to come back and visit and stay there again in a heartbeat! The golf simulator was fun itself after a day of golf to just play on. 11/10 would recommend. Thank yall so much!

What a gem of a find. Anu is a very kind and generous host. Our stay was improved with her recommendations for dinner and being able to have a quiet visit with her to learn more about the history of the house. The accommodations were as noted in the description and it was so easy to get to all the things we really wanted to see. Were we to return to Glasgow, we would return here. Thank you Anu for a nice stay.

our favourite airbnb for this trip. Everything was perfect. We found some good trails for hiking and also enjoyed relaxing at Cedar Chalet. Sarah and David are great hosts and we wish we could have stayed longer. loved meeting the furbabies before we left.

Perfect! Exactly as described. We had a lovely relaxing weekend. Warm, cosy and very clean. Everything you need and a few extras for breakfast. Much appreciated. Plenty of information supplied about the local area; walks, places of interest, restaurants including takeaway menus for home delivery. De accommodatie van Susie is een heerlijke plek in Morningside. Het is een gezellige,nette plek, van alle gemakken voorzien. Zoals een goed bed, een heerlijke douche, en een eenvoudig keukentje met magnetron, koelkast en wat levensmiddeln zoals muesli, melk koffie, thee, crackertjes,jam. Er stoppen veel bussen op 5 minuten loopafstand. Binnen 20 minuten ben je in het centrum. Maar Morningside zelf is ook de moeite waard. Een hele mooie buurt met veel leuke restaurants en winkels. En een mooie park op loopafstand. Een oase van rust, na een bezoek aan het centrum van Edinburgh. Hoewel Susie tijdens ons verblijf niet thuis was, was ons verblijf goed voorbereid en heeft ze goed gecommuniceerd.

Aliona's property felt like a home from home and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was clean, on a nice quiet street and had plenty parking. Inside was just like the pictures.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s place. He made the check in process easy and we felt right at home. The surroundings were stunning and peaceful, we only wish we had more time there. His dog Hurrah was adorable and friendly and we felt comfortable, cosy and right at home. I highly recommend staying here.

Janet’s place is the perfect place for a weekend away! We stayed at Janet’s place since it was super close to the Hive Stadium for our rugby match. Janet welcomed us from the start. Had a great time.

The location of the Wee Bothy is everything! It is convenient to the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle, and downtown Stirling. There is an adorable park a short walk away that is fun for both kids and adults alike! It’s also full of bunnies! The Wee Bothy is adorable and comfortable. The outside seating area is so peaceful with the beautiful sound of birds. I enjoyed relaxing outside. There is also a small market (Spar) a short walk away. I would definitely return if I am lucky enough to be in the area again! Super cute place!! Andrea and MacGregor are fantastic hosts. :-)

We loved our stay at rhe Hayloft! It is so beautiful and incredibly cozy! The perfect plave to come "home" and unwind from our daily outings hiking and exploring the surrounding areas. This was our first trip to Scotland and Dorothy's hospitality and helpful suggestions and having the Hayloft as our home base was absolutely perfect!

Great place to stay if you want to explore the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Perfect for a couple. Easy access and great facilities. Really comfy bed and bed linen. Graeme was really easy to get hold of and very helpful in facilitating early check in and a very welcome late check out after a very late night for a wedding nearby. Would highly recommend this property.

A estadia em casa de Veronique foi muito agradável. O apartamento corresponde às fotos e à descrição e tem todas as comodidades para uma estadia na linda cidade de Edimburgo. A Veronique foi muito acessível e tinha uma oferenda de boas vindas preparada, com pão, leite, compotas, etc para uma primeira refeição. Existem dois supermercados a uma curta distância do apartamento, muito úteis para quem quer fazer algumas refeições em casa. O local é bastante tranquilo e seguro. Recomendo, sem dúvida, este alojamento para quem quiser conhecer esta fantástica cidade.

The cottage was just as described – clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with chickens roaming around adding a charming countryside feel. Rebecca was a fantastic host: friendly, quick to respond, and very patient with all my questions. I’d love to come back for a longer stay and explore more of the lovely surroundings!
