Welcome to Downstairs Cottage, a cosy cottage feel, newly decorated 2 bedroom semi detached holiday home . Located in the heart of Ballyshannon, Irelands oldest town which is full of culture and heritage. A gateway to the Wild Atlantic Way, with an abundance of the counties treasures on its doorstep, full of fun things to see and do. The property is located at the mouth of the river Erne overlooking the estuary with sea and country garden views. Walking accessibility to all amenities.

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket, Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Check in time is 4pm to 7pm. Check out time is 11am. WE WOULD APPRECIATE AN ESTIMATE TIME OF ARRIVAL. Let us know on the day you arrive.

Bridget's- Donegal Town

Bridget's is a little two story cottage right beside our main house. It has two bedrooms; a double room on the ground floor and a twin room on the first floor. It has a spacious kitchen which has all the amenities guests should need during their stay. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a shower. Lastly the cosy sitting room is to the front of the house and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay. Bridget's is 1 mile (1.8km) from the centre of Donegal Town.

Lough View House

1 night may be available upon request with a different price plan. Loughview House is a modern home a ten minute drive from Donegal Town. It is situated in a quiet scenic area with breathtaking views of Lough Eske and Bluestack Mountains. The ground floor has two large sitting rooms,a well equiped kitchen with separate dining area,utility room and large hall. Upstairs has four large bedrooms,one of which has an ensuite. There is plenty of parking space and a large garden.

Dooey Hill Cottage - Beach Front

Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.
