My husband and I, plus our two dogs, had a great stay at Sandra’s. We really enjoyed the charm of the farmhouse and its gorgeous surroundings. Sandra was so kind, and we enjoyed getting to meet her. It was a quick and easy drive to Bossier City and Shreveport.

Beautiful little cottage on the grounds of an even more beautiful old plantation home property. The cottage was quaint and was plenty of room for us. Only three of us stayed but it is very comfortable for a family of four with a loft bedroom with a queen and two twin beds (and a pull out sofa in the living area downstairs). It is great for a peaceful getaway!

Space is exactly as described in a really lovely, artful part of the city with easy walking/biking/running to the Quarter or the Bywater neighborhood. Lots of green spaces nearby. Wifi is fast and great for remote work. Lots of restaurants and places to enjoy all around. Kitchen amenities limited as mentioned by hosts, so bring your appetite for enjoying out! Good to consider for longer stays perhaps.

The goats are the sweetest goats I’ve ever come in contact with. I grew up on a ranch, I’ve owned goats… These goats (and the kitty) are kid friendly. My son is terrified of cats, by the end of the stay he wanted to carry the cat home with us. We came for the animals and the outdoors experience which did not disappoint! We enjoyed every minute, especially the Bigfoot touches! Everything was perfect! Oh and don’t miss feeding the fish!! We loved that!

This place is so adorable!! The photos do not do it justice - it's an old historic Cajun cabin. The bathroom was much larger than I thought and has an original claw tub. The upstairs loft has the 2 twin beds and a double - very roomy. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful - horses, chickens, citrus trees, old barns etc.... You are close to the highway, but feel like you are deep in the country. The only downside to this place is that we only spent 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. This airbnb is perfect for an isolated getaway of quite and relaxation. Highly recommend!!!

This house is absolutely stunning! My girls loved hanging out here while they were getting ready!

Mary’s place is in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings. The AirBnB was clean and generally well equipped. The swimming pool was a bonus and delightful after having ridden 72 miles on bicycles with our gear. The nearest place for food was too far to get to before closing time. Mary graciously shared sandwich fixings with us! Grateful for her responsiveness and hospitality!

My dog and I booked this one last minute due to the storm going through the central Plains. I was so thankful to be able to find such a great place. The horses were friendly though I did not interact with them directly. Lots of room to walk around and get rid of some of that stress for my dog and myself. The inside was very large little echoey. Initially there was the smell of horses course on the other side of the apartment are the stables. Nice front porch bed was very comfortable. I missed on the amenities that there was no microwave which of course wasn’t a big deal in my situation but something to note if you’d like to heat things up like I do. Definitely recommend and would love to come back when I wasn’t in such a rush

The bunk room was extremely clean, very comfortable, and accurately advertised in the listing. Dan was friendly and responsive. We visit the area regularly and will definitely try to book again for our next visit!

My Grandsons and I had a great time at the Farm. The rooms were clean, there are historical pictures of the area all over the guest house. The beds were comfortable. Best part was meeting our host and hostess. They shared with us many recommendations for the area. They showed us all aspects of their farm life. We even helped them move the harvested onions to their new home. We found it very interesting how they keep it all organic. They are even resurrecting the Prairie. What a gift to have someone care so much about their heritage. Of course Finn was an added piece to the fun puzzle. Thanks for having us. I hope our paths have the opportunity to cross again.

This home was everything we hoped for and more. Extremely clean, very comfortable and homey - lots of books, which were super fun to peruse. Fresh flowers on the table and a personal note greeted us when we arrived. Communication with hosts was clear and easy. Well hope to stay here again next time we're in the area!

We stayed here for a week and a half. The place was a nice cozy cottage with everything we needed. It was a rural setting with a very large yard and porch. Although it was too cold when we visited , it would have been perfect to sit on the porch at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is peaceful and private. The sitting area by the water is secluded and quiet. Loved the windows looking out to the water. We wanted a weekend away from our normal busy lives and this was “mission accomplished “. The homemade biscuits were delicious and some of the best I have ever had. Yard eggs and homemade jelly just topped it off. Our host was very responsive and willing to help. I also enjoyed meeting their sweet dog. I would recommend staying here if anyone is ever staying in this area.

This is a beautiful place. It is peaceful and quiet. The perfect place to rest and relax.

This is the second year I've stayed with my dog at Kathryn's place on the order of 6 to 7 weeks. Similar to last year, I really enjoyed my stay at the rental and it served my needs very well again this year. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is nice to walk my dog on leash along the road for about a quarter mile without many houses and without much traffic. Kathryn is always communicative and checked in with me a couple of times to see if there was anything I needed. Again, I had an excellent experience staying at the rental!

This place is extraordinary, and Jeff was the consummate host. He was super-responsive, gave lots of helpful suggestions for things to do and went out of his way to make us feel fully at home with both total privacy and total availability. The home itself is wildly wonderful, exactly like the photos except more expansive inside and outside, with a lot of land. The landscape is gorgeous, and the bayou could not be prettier. I recommend this place for anyone!

If you're reading this, then you're one of the lucky ones. Cos it means you've found a very unique AirBnB. If you're the sort of person that likes staying in memorable places, then Sarah's place is for you. Book it. The cute little bedsit she's created is clean and comfortable and has a nice little balcony overlooking the barn its inlaid into. Your primary view? A beautiful field populated by vast ancient trees and a herd of water buffalo that Sarah has hand raised. To settle into a drink here while the sun goes down and the herd brays its approval for bedtimes was an utterly magical experience. I only hope you get to experience it too. Just go. (Myrtles if you dine out.)

We enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. Our hosts were very friendly and show great hospitality. From recommendations on restaurants to bringing us fresh eggs they always were very hospitable. The house is very nice and homey feeling with plenty of room and amenities. Everything was clean and well organized. From the comfortable beds to the outside sitting areas we couldn't complain about Any thing. We highly recommend this booking to anyone who is coming to stay in the area. I know that the next time we are in town I'm going to try and stay again if it's available.
