Our group wanted to stay outside of the city and we found this fantastic beach house 25 minutes outside of Lisbon. Easy to go into the city for the day if you’d like. However there are great restaurants and a beautiful beach to relax at in Costa de Caparica. The host is extremely responsive and helpful, and the home was perfect for our group of 14. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Ana Cristina is a great host, welcoming and friendly. The villa is lovely - equipped with all you need and a nice big pool. It’s a good location, close to a small town with a supermarket and only 20 minutes from Santarém. Definitely worth a stay!

We really enjoyed Sofia's place. Great gateway from the city and very family-friendly.. The house is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and with plenty practical little details for you not to miss a thing and feel like home. They even had some sweets and snacks ready for us when we arrived, and the basic kitchen products for cooking (and more). The garden and the little farm are a great complement to the stay. Our 3-year old daughter had a wonderful time playing pretend in the little wooden playhouse and interacting with the animals. Sofia's father was very thoughtful and engaged our daughter in feeding the animals, picking the eggs or giving a bottle to the baby goats. Pity she was a bit scared to ride on Emilia the pony. Surroundings are also delightful. We went for a family bike ride to ecopista. All in all, we were simply a happy family at Sofia's place. We definitely recommend it!

Pereira is an amazing host. Upon arrival we were received by the caretaker. He was very polite and gave us a tour of the house and its amenities. The house is gorgeous and perfect for rest and relaxation for my family. The water pressure is amazing. The rooms were spotless. My 8 year old loved the open concept. The oranges taste great off the orange trees in the backyard. I highly recommend Pereira's house for a quiet relaxing time with friends and family.

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the countryside, this is it. The location of Casa do Tio is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, but the real treat is simply staying in and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet and stylish getaway that got beautifully restored. Also the towels smell amazing, but the mattress was a bit too hard for our taste.

Rigtig dejlig og velfungerende bolig i smukke og rolige omgivelser. Værterne var utroligt gæstfri og hjertevarme, og vi følte os meget velkomne. Selvom man bor hos værten var de meget diskrete, men samtidig tilgængelige for hjælp, når der var behov for det. Bolig meget veludstyret og der var alt hvad vi havde behov for. Da vi ankom fik vi dejlig vin fra gården. Vi kan anbefale stedet til alle der elsker fred og ro i smukke omgivelser. Eneste forbedringsønske er madrasserne i værelset med enkeltsengene. Det kan kraftigt anbefales at spise på restauranten i det blå hus i landsbyen. Man kan også gå dejlige ture i landskabet rundt om gården.

Great central location to Belém. Easy to park on the street, can walk to shops and local tourist attractions. Short train trip into Lisbon central. The house is a traditional house for the area. It is a good size for four people. Basic kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, dishwasher. Lovely space outside in the garden surrounded by lemon trees. The extra space in the annex is great if you need to work from home and also a laundry. Very good communication with the hosts. I would recommend Ricardo's place if you want to visit Lisbon and surroundings but not be right in the centre and if you want a traditional Portuguese house experience. We have stayed in Belém before and really like the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mr Albert’s stunning apartment. The property is ideally located, close to everything, which made our experience even more special. Mr Albert went above and beyond to accommodate us. He kindly waited for our arrival, gave us a detailed introduction to the apartment, and explained everything about the property and the local area. His thoughtfulness and hospitality made us feel truly at home. Thank you so much, Mr Albert, for everything. Todo perfecto. Estuvimos alojados cinco noches con nuestro hijo de tres años y nos sentimos como en casa, además él disfrutó un montón de la compañía de los animales: perros, gatos, caballos y gallinas. Åse y Lars fueron muy amables y estuvieron pendientes de nuestras necesidades en todo momento. El alojamiento se encuentra muy bien situado, en medio de la naturaleza, pero lo suficiente cerca de algunas playas y lugares de interés como Alcobaça, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha... Una experiencia inolvidable que nos gustaría repetir.

Petit coin de paradis avec une vue imprenable. Le vue du coucher du soleil est magnifique. L'appartement est propre et correspond à la description. Merci à notre à hôte qui m'a bien aidé pour récupérer des affaires personnelles oubliées!

Véritable petit paradis à distance raisonnable de nombreux sites : Lisbonne, Sintra, Mafra, Ericeira… très proche de plages! accueil très amical par Johanna et Ronny qui nous ont donné de très bonnes adresses et conseils de visites! Nos garçons ont apprécié la piscine et le terrain de sport sur place! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter à l’occasion! Encore merci!

A nossa estadia no apartamento do Sr. Manuel foi bastante agradável. O apartamento está numa zona calma, mas que permite estar perto da praia rapidamente assim como de restaurantes e mini-mercados (demorámos cerca de 10minutos, com carrinho de bebé, caminho fácil de fazer). E, se necessário, tem Intermarché perto (de carro). Tem uma linha de comboio ao lado mas que em nada atrapalhou o dia nem a noite, uma vez que o comboio não passa com muita frequência e também não é muito barulhento. O apartamento tem todas as comodidades necessárias para a estadia. Correspondeu às nossas expectativas e pudemos desfrutar da piscina e da praia, com a nossa bebé! Foi uma ótima semana assim como os anfitriões foram espetaculares para connosco. Gostámos muito de S. Martinho do Porto, assim como da estadia. Recomendo bastante este espaço.

Pasamos un fin de semana increíble! La cabaña de Celia es muy acogedora. Es muy luminosa (con grandes ventanales), la cama es cómoda y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una linda estancia. Estaba muy limpia y decorada con mucho gusto. Además, Celia es encantadora, siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades y nos recomendó lugares interesantes. Nos recibió con pan casero (exquisito), unos dulces típicos del lugar y agua, gesto muy apreciado ya que llegamos de noche. La recomiendo 100% y seguro volveremos nosotros :)

Fabulous alternative accommodation and very responsive friendly host

Petit studio très agréable, avec une hôte disponible, une super terrasse et une bonne connexion wifi. Accès rapide vers Sintra. Petit bémol, il faisait un peu frisquet la nuit en ce mois de décembre. Mais, dans l’ensemble, nous recommandons les yeux fermés ! Nous reviendrons certainement !

We really enjoyed the stay at Filipe‘s place. The house is close to a beach with small bar and a pizza place. You can surf here and it‘s 15min by car to Ericeira. We did a workaction here, if you are looking for something similar we can recommend this place.

Lucília’s husband came and greet us when we arrived there and he was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay :) the place was just like it was described !

O equilíbrio perfeito entre uma quinta com muita história e um chalé super acolhedora e com um enquadramento muito bonito sobre as vinhas. Muito bem recebidos pela Sra. Lucília e pelo Sr. Armando. Voltaremos certamente!
