Close to Hay on Wye, the Offas Dyke path and a half hour drive from Abergavenny and the city of Hereford. We aim to provide the feel of a luxury retreat and all that you need to unwind in absolute comfort. Our beautifully fitted, spacious yurt with its own wood-fired hot tub is perfect for a romantic rural getaway with a Mongolian twist. Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the yurt is totally secluded and has open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. A totally peaceful magical place.

Set in the beautiful rural Herefordshire countryside, next to the Welsh borders, The Garden Cottage is approached over private tracks. (These are well maintained but please drive slowly). The cottage overlooks beautiful scenic farmland. Come and relax. The only sounds you hear are farm animals and bird song. The Garden Cottage is up on Ewyas Harold common, surrounded by its own land and the butterfly conservation fields. It is about half a mile away from the popular village of Ewyas Harold.

Angel Barn

Angel Barn is a self-contained cottage with a private garden and access to 6 acres of private land. Located in Herefordshire in the foothills of the Black Mountains, ideal for walkers. Sleeps 2 to 4 in a master bedroom with a king-size bed, and a twin bedroom, dogs welcome. The living-room is open-plan, with kitchen to one side of the glazed doors, and sitting-area to the other. The doors open out onto a private sitting-out area, with lawn and climbing-frame beyond. 2 Dogs Yes £20 on arrival.

Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

The Olchon Bothy - quaint and cosy

This simple and charming detached Bothy sits on the Wales/Herefordshire borders on the edge of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons National Park, it is perfect for couples or individuals, but sorry no dogs. The area is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, bird/nature watching or simply relaxing. The village of Longtown is nearby (2 miles) with its very own 12th century castle, a traditional local pub/restaurant and an excellent shop selling local produce .

In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. We are situated in a unique position overlooking Dore Abbey within the Golden Valley. The pod is furnished to make it light and airy with all mod cons including TV, wifi, DAB radio, a modern kitchen and shower room. Although it is modern it has a country/Scandi feel and offers guests uninterrupted views out to open countryside and the 12th Century Abbey. There is a private patio which is perfect for enjoying a coffee and taking in the Abbey and surrounding farmland.
