This was our second stay at this residence and it was as great an experience as the first time. We stayed in 2023, but it was booked in 2024 when we were looking. The house is very clean and a great family environment for spending time together. We would definitely come back here again and recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice getaway. Great spot in the Poconos/Jim Thorpe area. Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Only minutes from Downtown Jim Thorpe and Penns Peak. Plenty of fun games and activities at the house for kids and adults. My daughter and I, and a few friends had a great weekend. Will definitely check this place next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend. Bill was a very responsive host.

Stayed at Justin's place for a 30th birthday weekend trip and we loved it! Justin was super responsive as a host and the AirBnB was beautiful, cozy, and in the most relaxing and peaceful little spot.

We really enjoyed staying here despite the snow, freezing rain & wind! We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway weekend and that’s exactly what we got! We were able to have a good time with all the games that are there to play! Also the Ricketts Glen Hotel is less than 5 minutes away for some very good food! I highly recommend this listing!

Our stay at this bnb was amazing; the house was exactly as pictured and beautiful in person, it was very tidy and clean upon arrival. The team was very responsive and provided thorough information about the home and suggestions on what to do in the surrounding the area. The location was also beautiful, would definitely stay again with family. AND the hosts donate a percentage of proceeds to building a water well in another country which made the stay even more fulfilling!

I'll be honest, I don't really write reviews. This house is my exception. This property exceeded every expectation my family and I had for our vacation. The property was accurately described with every amenity imaginable! Additionally, the extra touches on the property made our stay comfortable and really memorable. We had never been to the Poconos before, and this property elevated our experiences. We plan to return and hopefully stay in this home again. Finally, Penpa's communication was second to none. Every step of the trip the host provided detailed instructions, quick support with any questions, and reasonable flexibility with requests that made their property the best experience my wife or I have ever had with Airbnb in the 13 years we've used the service. Thank you to both of you for a wonderful experience. Your home is something special, and the way you run your property is exceptional. We really appreciated it.

Perfect place for a getaway! The location was peaceful while also being close to restaurants and the lake.

Don't hesitate to book this amazing space! Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well stocked, this historic property is perfect for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed not being able to find each other in the huge space : ) We love that the apartment has been updated but the beautiful, ornate finishings of the previous centuries remain. We hope to return in warmer weather so we can enjoy the covered porch and backyard area. Esther is a welcoming and attentive host and we would book any of her properties. Our only disappointment was that our stay wasn't longer.

This place was the perfect stay in Scranton. Only 1 mile from where I was working downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood that made it easy to unwind at the end of my days. It was very clean (a must) with all the amenities one would need, and check-in/out instructions were prompt and clear.

My girlfriend and I liked the house as soon as we saw the picture. Upon arrival, there was plenty of parking and we were able to use the driveway to unload our belongings. Rob’s instructions were great. The apt was funky-cute, clean and quiet. Close to everything! Good choice for 1 or 2 people.

Spent the weekend here and it was beautiful and amazing !!! it was just what me and my partner needed !!! great host... got to meet them and they were wonderful people ....set the fire alarm off but it happens often thank God lol I would recommend booking this place

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Jules was a great and responsive hosts with many wonderful recommendations in the area. Very cozy backyard/porch as well. Street parking was great too! Definitely would recommend!

Chelsea’s place was nice and cozy! I especially loved the real plants, faux fur heavy bedding, an assortment of different pillows, and the giant love sac bean bag. Chelsea was very nice and responsive and offered a free late checkout to wait out an ice storm. Host made sure walkways were cleared and ice melt was put down before checkout, which shows how much they care about their guests and their property. Parking was very easy and in front of the unit, which made it very helpful to carry in our belongings. I felt very safe and secure at this location. Thanks for a great stay Chelsea!

Paul was a great host! Me and my girlfriend were staying here doing a little road trip for her birthday from Connecticut! The space was so clean and comfortable for the both of us! We both loved it and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re ever in the Scranton area! I would definitely come back!!

Scott’s place was very nice and peaceful. We stayed at several properties in the Jack Frost development, and this one was the nicest. Check in was easy and flexible with an electronic door lock. It was clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable. The washer and dryer in the unit were definitely helpful. The amenities were as listed and we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation.

Paul was always very responsive and friendly. He was quite accommodating as well. The place was perfectly clean and well appointed. I would definitely stay again, as well as recommend to others looking to stay in the area.

We enjoyed are stay especially the use of the fireplace and the kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy meals with the family. My nieces enjoyed the upstairs own space with partial bathroom. This place looks exactly has published. Very quiet and relaxing surroundings.

Melissa’s place was everything I needed for my stay! I loved the provided bath linens and access to extra blankets if needed! The apartment was even better than shown in the pictures - a cute, quaint little place! It was conveniently located close to food and various “shopping” (CVS, family dollar, etc) that could easily be walked to, as well! If you stay, make it a point to go downstairs for food/drinks - the CBR pasta & French onion meatloaf were SO delicious! Would absolutely stay again!
