There was everything we needed for 2 weeks (incl. everything for cloth washing) Location is great If travelling with toddlers - children's playground is right outside building front door and another one is within10min walking distance  Apartment is above shopping centre with grocery store, fast food restaurants, dessert shops, clothing stores, place to buy bus tickets (next to grocery store) Good for travelling by bus as bus stop is nearby and for travelling by car as appartment has space for car in underground parking lot (near garbage containers, so there were smells for a few days before containers were emptied) and driving from this location to all of the island was easy Appartment does not have air conditioning, but with closed curtains during the day and opened windows temperature inside was good. However sleeping with opened windows is not an option because there is quite a busy street with loud traffic Thank you for letting us stay a bit longer last day so our toddler could nap

So sad to leave, we will definitely be back! This place blew us away TRULY made our honeymoon in Madeira magical. The view is beyond words. The location is perfect if you plan to drive around the island—15 minutes to Funchal, 40 minutes to Fanal Forest, or just 1 minute to a secluded beach below at Faja dos Padres. (Don’t miss this on a sunny day!) We spent our days exploring and then coming back in the evening to cook our meals and relax in the hot tub. Everything was immaculately clean and beautiful, and Christina seemed to think of every single detail to make her guests feel right at home. (The kitchen was well equipped with basics like oil, salt and pepper, sugar to make cooking easy; there was a picnic basket, cooler, and umbrellas to use while adventuring the island; the wood fired grill was awesome.) The thoughtfulness of these details made us feel like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. Except this place was 100 times better. Book it! You won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and even bigger than the photos. It was extremely quiet but still in such a central location. The concierge were always on hand to help if needed. The hosts even sent some complimentary gifts for my birthday. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else!

My son and I had an amazing 10-day vacation in Funchal. The apartment was spotless with high-quality linen and towels, and had everything you need for a short but comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring Funchal, it is just a few minutes’ walk from the ocean and small beaches, the old town, restaurants, local shops and supermarkets. It is also conveniently situated about a 10-minute walk from the bus station, making it very easy to explore the rest of what Madeira has to offer! Carina is a very friendly and helpful host, easily contactable via message. We would definitely come here again—highly recommended!

We had a nice stay at Rui’s place. Came with an outside covered terrace. The apt was clean and spacious for two people. Thank you for hosting us.

Petit studio agréable, parfait pour un pied à terre pour un couple explorant Madère. Beaucoup de dénivelé pour accéder au logement donc ne convient pas pour des personnes à mobilité réduite. Vue très sympathique depuis notre terrasse. Un peu de bruits de la ville (aboiement de chiens, motos...) mais je pense que c'est pareil partout à Madère. Avec les fenêtres fermées nous n'avons pas été génés (il y a la clim s'il fait trop chaud dans l'appartement).

The apartment was very nice, clean, spacious and in a great location. The area is great for walking. Apartment is new and modern, perfect for two couples. The host always responded quickly to our questions and provide lots of information on things to do, restaurants, etc.

Absolutely stunning stay! The views were like something out of a postcard—so picturesque, we almost didn’t want to leave. The house was spotless, and every detail was thought of: towels, blankets, shampoo, even spare wood for the outdoor barbecue. There’s AC in every room (though we didn’t need it), plus a washer, dryer, and plenty of supplies like soap and dishwasher pods. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive at all hours. The garage was a bonus, especially in the rainy weather, giving us extra comfort. The area itself is very peaceful and quiet, yet only a short 7-8 minute drive to cafes, restaurants, and shops. If I ever return to Madeira, this is where I’ll stay—no question.

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was truly beautiful — very well-equipped, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. We were especially delighted by the fridge stocked with food; we haven’t had such delicious eggs in a long time! And the fresh bread delivered every morning was such a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, along with the stunning view of the ocean. Thank you so much for everything — it was a wonderful experience!

Gostamos muito desta nossa curta estadia nesta casa de campo espetacular, rodeada de natureza e muito proxima do oceano. A casa é completa e tem diversas comodidades. Sentimo-nos relaxados pois pudemos desfrutar da piscina do jacuzzi e dos passeios à beira-mar. Recomendo vivamente!

Gabriela, what a wonderful place !!! This was just amazing, and we have no other words. Casa de Tercas is a hidden gem, that deserves its « Madeira style » access by car, but this is part of the deal, and we finally loved the challenge !! Everything is beautiful in your house, the view and location are just amazing, top-notch responsiveness from Gabriella. Well, impossible to find any drawbacks, since everything was perfect. Thank you for everything, including the fresh eggs, the bananas, and the carrot muffins. If you read the is review, you can go blind to this jewel. You will not be disappointed. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness, thoughtful decor, and breathtaking views. The space is modern yet cozy, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. We were a group of 8 adults, and the apartment worked perfectly for us. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the layout was ideal for both socializing and having privacy when needed. The location is perfect – within walking distance to the city center, but in a peaceful area where you can relax and unwind. I especially loved enjoying my morning coffee on the balcony, taking in the stunning views of the ocean and cityscape. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Madeira.

Apartament zgodny z opisem. Czysty, zadbany, funkcjonalny, a dostępny garaż to ogromny plus tego miejsca. Cicha i spokojna lokalizacja, blisko park z kawiarnią. Do centrum można dostać się w kilka minut przechadzając się urokliwymi uliczkami. Świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania wyspy. Kilka słów o Gospodarzach… Super ludzie, zawsze pomocni, Carla bardzo szybko odpowiada na wiadomości.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Rita is a really nice, friendly owner, who was always available to help and give advices. The location of this appartment could not be better. From the sunny balcony you will have an amazing view at the ocean and the fortress. At the corner there is the really nice bar/restaurant Barreirinha. And you are a few steps away from the centre of Funchal, but there is totally no problem with noise; it is completely quiet. The appartment is clean and nice. The shower is good, the bed is also good, although a bit small for tall people like me (1m90). You will feel like home in this fantastic appartment, would love to be back.
