This was the perfect secluded getaway. The privacy, the nearby river, and the fire pit made it everything we needed to relax and unwind. Being tucked away in the mountains gave it a peaceful, remote feel, yet we were still just a short drive from great wineries and breweries. It was the ideal mix of nature and local charm—our stay was truly remarkable.

This place was one of the most accommodating Airbnb’s I’ve ever been too. They provided things like toilet paper, trash bags, towels for the hottub, and a ton of wood for the firepit which made things a lot more convenient for us. They even left a little gift for us on the kitchen table! The home itself was also very clean and modern. Our favorite part by far was the backyard! We loved using the hottub every night and sitting by the fire too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Our stay at Mansai’s was amazing. We saw all sorts of wildlife while driving up the driveway along with deer and turkeys walking up and down the mountains behind the house. My daughters enjoyed the open floor plan that allowed plenty of room for them to play along with the wrap around deck and large back yard. I’d recommend this place to anyone, it was the exact getaway we needed. Thank you Mansai!

The cabin was remote and peaceful. Nestled in the hills of the valley it offered privacy, comfort, and seclusion. It was also only about 10-15 minutes from Luray and the caverns.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend away. Great Scenery and very private to relax and recharge.

What a find! This is an absolutely gorgeous cabin, amazing location right next to White Oak Trailhead and 15 minutes from Old Rag. Stephanie is incredibly responsive and professional- highly recommend!

We enjoyed our extended stay at this cabin so much, our hosts were very friendly and accommodating with all our needs. Any questions we had were answered within a timely manner. The cabin is so peaceful and very private, definitely a great property to get out and spend time in nature! The cabin is very clean and has everything you need for your stay, even had a porch with a grill to get out and spend time with family. We had a great stay at the cabin, such a beautiful setting! Loved the privacy and the dogs especially appreciated the fenced in yard. Hosts were quick to respond if we had any questions. The cabin had a great layout, very easy to feel right at home. The rain shower in the bathroom was definitely hard to leave! Very convenient to Charlottesville, restaurants (Jack’s nearby was a favorite for Bfast/lunch!), and walks. Would rent again!

I loved this cabin. It was even more beautiful than I could've hoped. Quiet and peaceful and perfect to relax, it was a great home base for nearby hikes! Marie was a wonderful host and gave us a few recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do!

Our stay here is wonderful. The wood house is extremely beautiful. All decoration is soooo historic and we really love the style. And it is located very private area of the valley. If you want to get a peaceful time for a while, it would be perfect to stay. Highly recommend!!

We loved this cabin and it was perfect for a winter weekend getaway. The main lodge and the cabin were easy to find even in the dark. The cabin was cozy and had the perfect amount of amenities and the river behind the cabin was beautiful. We had fun exploring the farm and seeing all the animals. We will definitely book further stays!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a holiday. Our family of four and dog had plenty of space to enjoy nature and relax. Clean and well stocked with essentials. The house was nice and warm for a cozy winter stay. Would definitely recommend to families with children!

The experience here at Jason's house was great. the description is pretty accurate the house was a little smaller than I thought but perfect for a couple. has a futon upstairs and a reclinable couch for extra people. The Hottub was clean and warm when we got there. the deck boasts a beautiful view of the sunset. really perfect and peaceful. hard to see the neighbors. this house is located all the way at the top of the mountain. we were there in good weather but 4x4 definitely helps. the road is gravel and dirt but if your just going in 2wd you will skip and slide a little on the switchbacks with the bumps in the ground from other cars spinning. if you know what you're doing you'll be fine. over all really great experience. the Bed was super comfortable and clean. could use another dresser or closest for storage space. thank you so much for the stay and providing a clean and peaceful escape
