In the heat of Watamu, the garden is a jewel and the pool in the middle is a must! We really enjoyed our stay at Jeremy and Laura's cottage with our 2 little ones (6 months and 2 years). The house itself is vintage with optional air conditioned at night. It can be really hot during the day so the pool is just a perfect option to refresh yourselves (it's shaded until 11am and from 4pm). Daniel, the house manager, was always willing to help and discreet, though he is working around the house on the plot all day from 8 to 5pm. He was even in capacity to help us find a young lady to supervise our babies so that we could enjoy our evenings out. Apart from the pool and the sublime garden, one other great added values of the cottage is definitely its location (very central) as there are many very good restaurant options at tuktuk distance - Jeremy shall share lots of tips prior to your arrival! I think we tried all of them ;)

My stay in Watamu, with my two friends, was very lovely. Yasmin, Antonio, and Mary made our stay very comfortable with their warm personalities and responsiveness to any queries we had throughout our visit. This was much appreciated when we needed assistance with things in the house. The open plan feel of the apartment with the strong breeze was something of a lifeline in the heat by the Indian Ocean and the effective A/C in all bedrooms was a blessing. The pool was clean and also very quiet which made mornings and evenings very peaceful to swim. The apartment is very well located and is just 5minutes, if that, to Watamu beach and also positioned close to the bank and nearby shops. I will be staying here again if and when I am on the coast, Gus (UK 23-29/08/24)

Stayed with family including 5 kids under 11 years. We had a wonderful time! The pictures truly don't do the house justice. The kids (and adults too!) spent most of the time in the pool. The beach is a 5 mins walk away where we got excursions to Malindi marine park. But what made this stay so enjoyable for us was the staff (Phillip, Janet, Eric and James) who really made us feel welcome and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

Adrienne's house is perfect for a stay with friends or family. Conveniently located near Garoda beach, with direct access to the beach. (5min walking distance) The house is beautiful, with well-organized and practical indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool is great ! Each bedroom has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a private bathroom.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gianni's place! It is located in a very good area in Watamu and close to everything. I also loved the fact that it is so private. The house itself is also very nice. The kitchen supplies are maybe a bit basic without a kettle/toaster. But nothing to be worried about. Every night there is a night guard, which gave me a safe feeling. Although he doesn't speak English which sometimes caused some language barriers. The owner Gianni was always very responsive and easy to communicate with! Thank you for a great stay!

very cosy place, nice balcony and all necessary amenities fulfilled. the security guards are helpful with any transportation needs and all communication with the host was smooth as. Overall had a great stay! Thanks.

Our stay at Daniela's place was great, the house and rooms are beautifully decorated and professionally cleaned by the staff everyday. We also enjoyed the large spacious garden, the friendly dogs and the pool for relaxing in. We were well taken care of by the chef and the rest of the staff who made our stay very comfortable and helped with everything we needed. The location is also decent with it not being far from restaurants and other attractions in Malindi town as well as the beach and beach restaurants. Overall, I'd say it's a good option if you're looking for a place to stay on holiday in Malindi.

Danke für die tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft! Für Sauberkeit ist immer gesorgt, die Unterkunft ist toll ausgestattet und sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Strand und super Restaurants sind gleich um die Ecke, wer lieber an der Unterkunft bleibt, hat einen großen Pool und eine voll ausgestattete Küche . Das Grundstück ist gut gesichert und die Gastgeber sehr nett, die Kommunikation freundlich und unkompliziert. Wärmstens zu empfehlen 😊 Bis zum nächsten Mal

Erena was a wondeful host who assisted in all manners from pre booking to being around when we needed as well with ideas for what to do and planning meals. The place was lushes and green and so peaceful and loved the loveable furry friends being around which made it feel real homey. Really enjoy my stay and I will return for sure with more friends as it is big enough

Our stay at Villa Mkauju was absolutely fantastic! The villa is stunning, offering tranquility and comfort. Het domein is prachtig om te vertoeven en volledig tot rust te komen. Alles is aanwezig om een zeer leuk verblijf te hebben. En als je iets vraagt, is niets teveel en wordtver onmiddellijk gereageerd door aanwezige staff en/of host. Een echte aanrader om te verblijven en/of als uitvalbasis te dienen voor de vele mogelijke uitstapjes in de onmiddellijke omgeving van zowel strand, oceaan, mooie natuur, safari, restaurants, … en zoveel meer … ! Meer dan geslaagd ! Super.

The house is in a great location, close to the beach and many beachfront restaurants. The house is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.
