It has double glazing, a mini fireplace, toilet with vanity in add-on bathroom off the deck, large porch area for dining and 2 outdoor baths for soaking in the views. A country escape located 4km’s up the Pahiatua Track. Approximately 8-10 minute drive to the outskirts of town, Massey University, the IPU Tertiary Institute and to our local Summerhill shopping centre with a supermarket, takeaways, laundry, café’s and restaurants. Palmerston North's CBD is about 13 km's. Your private entrance leads to a guest suite attached to our house with a lounge, separate double and single bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette with basic supplies for preparing meals.

Gum Tree Haven

Our place is close to the great Tongariro National Park. It includes Mt Ruapehu for skiing or snow boarding and tramping. Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.
