Lovely break away with my mum friends. Wanted peace and quiet and this was exactly that! Home away from home vibes. Lovely surroundings with little baby calfs to watch as we sat in hot tub. Great size, comfortable and fresh! Hot tub was ready and lovely! Would recommend !

We had an amazing stay at James'! He was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the cabin & the area. Great amenities, clean and the most relaxing weekend ever! The bed is so comfy and you are provided with everything you need. I can not recommend it enough :)

absolutely beautiful place, beautiful lodge as well. it was my boyfriend and i’s first weekend away together and we definitely picked the right place!! 45mins out from lincoln city so easily doable in a day and close to local shops as well. overall it was 10/10 and would definitely consider returning

Absolutely stunning! This beautiful lodge is tucked away in a tranquil and peaceful setting that lends itself to complete relaxation. Spent the weekend with my mum and daughter and we were all so happy with our visit. Nice to see owners out on their daily walks, so friendly and welcoming. The lodge itself is perfect, incredibly clean with everything you would need. Wonderful stay and highly recommended x

The place is a lot bigger than on the photos. The secluded garden was brilliant for my dog and the big field opposite was an added bonus to walk him. It is very peaceful and I would definitely book it again. Gabby was very quick in replying, when we got lost and needed fire-lighters for the log burner.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay at The Windsor cabin. It had beautiful decor and was incredibly clean. The hot tub was such a highlight as well. Couldn’t recommend here enough. Linda and Hannah were a great help when we had any queries. Will 100% stay here again.

No better way to celebrate our moms 76th birthday weekend. Beautiful to wake up to such a beautiful location, made all the better that the sun was actually shining! The listing location was exactly how described, and it was clean, and comfortable. Julian was responsive and very helpful with all of our enquiries. Already looking to book again later in the year. Booked this stay as a last minute get away and we absolutely loved it, the pod is great and it has a gate to keep your dog inside! Toilet and shower rooms are spotless. The fishing lakes are lovely, Adele is great and is everything you look for in a host. Had a fantastic time and will be rebooking as soon as I’ve posted this review!

We stayed one night at the cabin. It was easy to find, located on a nice peaceful road but within walking distance to a park to walk the dogs and local shops. The cabin was a charming space with all the amenities you could want, tucked away at the bottom of the garden. Comfy bed, nice linen and a quirky little bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Finding the lodge was easy, but only if you use the post code and directions Rebecca sends. If you use your Sat Nav you will never find the lodge. Rebecca responded quickly to messages and although we didn't meet, I felt she was a lovely host. The area is very quiet and great for walking, either with or without dogs. The lodge was comfortable, clean and a good base for the Derbyshire dales. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Rebecca x.

Brilliant amenities in the cabin, felt very spacious! Loved the rewilding, enjoyed the woodland walk and watching the trains (not noisy, don’t worry!). We can recommend Belton House, walk between Woolthorpe and Belvoir Castle and Mannakin Hall! Hope to stay here again : )

Booked for a 2 night stay and was perfect for a very relaxing time. Very easy to find in a beautiful little village. The instructions for getting in was perfect and great parking close to the lodge. The lodge was very clean and simple inside perfect for what we wanted. lots of room inside for the two of us and a Newfoundland dog and must say he really enjoyed his stay here also. The lodge is in the grounds of the Greenman pub this is a real bonus as the pub is a beautiful English pub with fantastic food and staff who made us feel really welcome it really is worth eating here and having a chat with the locals just how a pub should be good beer great food and lovely people thank you. 1 great thing about staying here is you step out straight into the countryside with gorgeous walks which me and the dog enjoyed. Amazing accommodation- really well maintained and spacious. Also very secure- just what we wanted and needed for our time down in the area. Donna was there to greet us and had milk/water in the fridge and hamper of tea/coffee/biscuits and cereals available. We are already booked for our next trip. Would highly recommend this host/accommodation.

I loved my stay here. The location was perfect for my cycling and trips to Burton. Really peaceful surroundings just the odd clip clip of hooves, a very pleasant sound. I haven’t slept this well in ages, the bed was so comfortable. The accommodation had everything you could need. I will be making it my go to place to stay whenever I’m taking a trip to the midlands.

Really great find. We were visiting friends who live nearby and this was a very handy place to stay. It felt very relaxing and the little touches like wine, coffee and a small breakfast option were really nice. We brought our 3 month old baby (and his own bed) and it was a perfect place to have a first small holiday from home. Beautiful garden and views from the windows.

We spent Easter weekend at Lodge Phoenix. The experience was unreal, the beauty unmatched. The place was tastefully decorated. Maria was very responsive and helped us out promptly. Highly highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

Great value for money and very clean place to stay. Sam’s instructions on arrival were clear and made check in very easy :) the kitchen was fully stocked with the basics for our stay including tea and coffee, the biscuits left were a lovely touch there is no WiFi at the accommodation and signal is very patchy but I loved being off my phone for a couple of days. Wonderful stay 🙌🏻

A perfect stay. The accommodation was beautiful right on the lakeside with ducks welcoming us. Lovely touches such as fairy lights, Prosecco, chocolates.Alexa.Spotlessly clean with a great shower and comfy bed. The location was perfect for us very private and peaceful and walkable to a pub. We visited Sherwood Forest easily and Idle Valley Nature Reserve. Definitely the best place we have stayed in the U.K. and I have already recommended to others. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
