Once again, a perfect 'home away from home' and a fantastic, restful, relaxing retreat! already booked my next stay for ARTWALK ALPINE in November. Thanks, Jean for sharing your wonderful space and hospitality.

The Yucca suite is a spacious one bedroom near downtown Alpine. You can easily walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops from the house. There are also hiking trails just up the road at Sul Ross University. We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment captures the spirit of Marfa perfectly. I had a fun time exploring all of the quirky details in and around the apartment. It's just far enough to feel private and isolated, but close enough to feel "in town." The bed was super comfortable and I loved the linens and pillows. I enjoyed the locally roasted coffee, too! It was a perfect last-minute stop after staying in Big Bend.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Shy~ so so fun and whimsical! The host was very responsive and left clear instructions so we knew what was expected of us! We loved it! And if we need a place to stay in Marfa again, Casa Shy will be our first choice!

Easy peasy. No complaints. Appreciated the well-appointed kitchen with oils, salt, pepper, knives that actually cut things and all the expected implements.

We absolutely loved staying at Jean's place. The cottage was a homey and comfortable place to come to at the end oflong days. The gardens outside are lovely and peaceful. We hughly recommend, and we definitely plan to book again next year.

We had a great stay at Mickey’s. The house is comfortable and clean and very cozy. We would stay here again.

Great location. Very clean. Really quiet at night. Some of the upgrades that make this place stand out are: real plants, touch lights in the bedrooms that have two outlets and two USB ports, nice luggage racks that include shoe racks. Parking isn’t an issue. There is nothing we needed that this place didn’t have. It even had an ice cream scoop. Responsive host. Great stay. Highly recommend.

This cabin was the perfect blend of rustic charm and peaceful retreat. We enjoyed the beautiful night sky from the porch and a surprise snowfall was a special treat. Even with the cold snap, we were snug and warm in this charming cabin. Christopher and his team clearly communicated the directions to the cabin so it was no problem to find. If you’re looking for a relaxing quiet place that feels secluded but is close to stores and restaurants, this is a great choice.

When we travel, we have to have a full kitchen due to dietary restrictions---it's nearly impossible for us to eat at restaurants, so I was excited to have a full kitchen! Sometimes you can only get a full kitchen in a larger place, and it's just the 2 of us, so that was a plus. We enjoyed sitting outside in the private courtyard, and enjoyed a glass of wine by the firepit and watching the stars come out. The house is conveniently located, so easy to find, and easy to get back to after exploring! Alpine was the perfect hub for us, allowing us to explore Ft. Davis, Marfa, and Big Bend over our 3 days there. Also, the temperature ranged from about 32 to almost 85 while we were there, but we were able to keep the house comfortable. Fluffy towels, plush resort style robes, and good beds made for a great stay. And the chilled beer mugs in the freezer were a lovely surprise! We'd stay again!

Clean, spacious and lovely place, with plenty of amenities and essentials from cooking supplies to toiletries to linen all neatly organized for use. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet and peaceful, and we had a great time at the Big Bend National Park knowing that there was a comfortable home base to return to Trichia was pretty responsive, and friendly as well! Would definitely recommend.
