What a great place to stay! Convenient to where we had to go. Nice little town. Fassil was very responsive to any questions we had! Very clean. Lots of room nice outdoor area as well. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!!!

Peg is wonderful. She’s professional while also being kind, generous, and friendly 🙂 I’ve now stayed at both her “Owl House” and the “Casa Picoflor.” They’re similarly charming and well maintained. I’d recommend to everyone!* * - With just 2 exceptions: 1) those who wish to do lots of cooking with a lot of food prep, since counter space next to stove is limited, and 2) those who have difficulty driving on narrow roads, as there’s a ~1/2-mile stretch that won’t fit 2 cars side by side

Pretty spot in quiet community, nearby trails and beautiful country to explore. Nearby towns treat to visit. Problem w fridge which they immediately addressed. Modest place but comfortable, clean, private.

A great little place to stay in San Rafael, looks exactly like the photos. It’s totally self contained and has everything you need, stocked with all basic items so I was set up straight away and was well equipped and comfortable during my entire stay. Amazing location, very close to all the shops, transport hub and fabulous walking in the hills behind. Laura was great on liaising before and during my stay on anything I needed, but my time there was made so much more special by the wonderful Aileen who owns the place - she’s so welcoming, turned up with the most delicious hot pumpkin bread on my first day and was an absolute angel throughout my time there - I had a few personal things going on during my stay and she was an absolute rock, going way beyond any expectation I had of a host, which was hugely appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful month at your place :)

Great place to stay! Had all of the available amenities and then some! The bottle of wine and coffee was super thoughtful! The building was clean and within walking distance of downtown. I would recommend this listing to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

Julia was responsive, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. She brought extra supplies and was flexible on check out time. Great spot!

Great spot! I already have plans to return - what better review can I give? I quite enjoyed the month I spent living and working remotely from here. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, has easy access to the beauty of Sausalito and Marin Headlands, is a straightforward walk to the ferry, and is very close to a bus stop as well. David is a great host: easy to communicate with, proactive about maintaining the unit, genuinely enjoyable to talk to, and generous. For digital nomads - the Wi-Fi is reliable. I'm looking forward to returning!

Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt und wir können diese Unterkunft all denen empfehlen, die zu zeit unterwegs sind und einen wunderbaren, gemütlichen Rückzugsort und gleichzeitig eine super Homebase für Ausflüge in die Bay-Area haben wollen. Die Lage ganz in Nähe der Richmond-Bridge ist genial! Kommen gerne ein weiteres Mal.

Katie’s place was just right for additional sleeping space close to our daughter’s family at Thanksgiving. Easy walk to great shops and restaurants, too. Katie was very helpful with questions. We would stay here again.

Candi was proactive and went to great length to ensure we had a good time while visiting our daughter. We'll definitely stay here again.

My family would definitely stay again. The place is spacious, great kitchen, laundry and bathroom. Easy check-in and Donny is great at communicating with us for anything we needed. The issue is how the doors don’t really close/lock. They also don’t have keyless code pad, so if you lose the key it wouldn’t be great. Comfy bed and clean sheets. Plenty of towels. And a parking spot available.

We loved our stay in the country. It was convenient to get to wine tasting and to parks and hiking. The only thing we didn’t like was that we could hear truck traffic from the highway but it was minor (didn’t keep us awake but noticeable). It’s a beautiful place. We loved the sheep and how green it was this time of year. The cheese was delicious!

I am just home after 4 weeks at Karen and Duncan’s beautiful spot, visiting daughters and their families. My husband was with me part of the time. Gorgeous view, from inside or outside on the balcony. Fantastic short walk location near restaurants, wine bars, great walks, ferries, all the village of Tiburon. Spotlessly clean and fresh, excellent water pressure (shower) such a big, comfy bed. Kitchen was equipped with any tool or pan you might need. Hosts were quickly and kindly responsive. I loved my stay and hope to return!

Anya's place is peaceful and relaxing -- a great place to stay in this beautiful area. The bed is very comfortable, and the desk a lovely place to work! We were very happy with our stay.

We booked this place for our mini honeymoon. We are from Sacramento and wanted to do a getaway not too far from home just for a couple of days after our wedding and it did not disappoint. This place was clean, nice, and equipped with all that we needed. The view was spectacular and it’s what made this place so worth it. We also loved how close it was to the beach. It was awesome that they had beach chairs available to use. We also loved how close it was to Tiburon and Sausalito area. Some recommendations we have for the area - Malibu Farm, FISH, and Salt & Pepper were good. If you want to get a massage or go to a spa, Almonte Spa in Mill Valley was great. All in all a great stay! Thanks Graham for being communicative and for hosting us.

My stay at Jessica’s place was amazing! I wanted privacy without feeling isolated like in a hotel, and this was perfect. From the start, I felt welcomed Jessica is incredible, and her daughter is adorable. We had a great conversation on my first day, and she even offered me two fascinating books to read, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere of her home was exactly what I needed to reconnect with myself. The bathroom was one of my favorite parts spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. The room had everything I was looking for, and the energy of the house was something you just don’t find in a hotel. This is definitely a place I’d return to again and again. Jessica is a fantastic host, and I highly recommend staying here. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming place with amazing energy, this is the one. Five stars!

My Son an I did a 5 day stay. The place was very centrally located on the pacific coast. The place was very cozy, clean and comfortable with outstanding ocean views from everywhere in the cabin. Good parking for two vehicles. Weather was so so, but did not hindered us a bit. We hiked at Muir Woods, the overlook and the beach all within 5 minutes away. We were able to go to San Francisco multiple times 35 minutes to do half day lunches or dinners and Sausalito 20 minutes. Yeshi was very responsive when we communicated, but really needed little assistance. The home is older and very charming. It reminded me of my own house growing up. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved my stay here! Maryam was a great host and her place was lovely. The bedroom was comfy and cozy, and everything was tidy and spotless. There's a really nice walking path along the water. Would definitely visit again!

Clean, quiet, and spacious—perfect for families. We enjoyed all the amenities; the unit is close to a shopping area and supermarket so you can get whatever you need for a comfortable stay. A good, simple place to rest after a day of exploring. The host was easy to communicate with.

This is the perfect sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle, nestled against a beautiful backdrop of nature and greenery, and close enough to drive into town or take a walk to a local cafe or bakery. We were 10 minute drive to many wineries and to Sonoma Plaza so it was very convenient. Allen was responsive and made our stay easy and pleasant.
