It has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and small kitchen with a one-plate conduction stove, and other essentials. The Muizenberg surfing beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Beautiful coastal and mountain walks are easily accessible, as are local shops, restaurants and cafes. The popular Bluebird neighbourhood market is a great place to sample locally made food, beers and wine on a Friday.

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

There are organic veggie beds in the backyard where guests are welcome to harvest from. We also have a greenhouse in the backyard growing exotic houseplants where guests are welcome to have a look. We are in a peaceful neighbourhood beside a lake with beautiful views towards the mountains and a 5min drive away from the vibey surf village of Muizenberg.

This cosy, self catering flatlet is situated a stone's throw away from the vlei in Lakeside & a short walk to the Surfer's Corner at Muizenberg Beach. This makes it the ideal spot for a quiet getaway or surf holiday. Grocery stores & the train station are less than 1km away, if you don't have car transport. It can comfortably sleep 1 person or a couple and comes fully furnished with a kitchenette, ensuite bathroom with a shower, secure off street parking & access to a shared garden and pool.
