Fantastic accommodation and hosts. The house is lovely and well equipped. The back deck and pool area is amazing. Very secluded. The hosts were also very helpful at returning a couple of items left behind. Top accommodation.

The Redwood Retreat is the most amazing place. It offers everything you could wish for. Everything in this house is thoughtful and well-appointed. We felt right at home and enjoyed our holiday there, even when the weather turned nasty for three days. This house offers the perfect relaxing atmosphere after a day of adventure and activity. Thank you so much for the most beautiful time we had.

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Great place to stay. It was a shame the plunge pool wasn’t working but communication was good and we were compensated.

The house is very huge and there is everything you need. I felt right at home. We did a lot of cooking during our stay and we could find many kinds of kitchenware. During our stay, there was one night with clear sky and we could see stars and galaxy from the house. The host was also very responsive. This place is also perfect for retreat with friends and family.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s a great house. We stay here for a work event and it’s perfect because of the number of bedrooms, the space and the location.

We stayed for one night while travelling down the North Island. The house was easy to access and was fully fenced which was ideal as we have a dog and 2 young children. The place was clean and tidy and was family friendly.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay in a great location. House was private and had everything we needed. Also amazing mini golf & restaurant walking distance! Great walks to the lake also!

This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. We had a lovely stay with two couples and a child. it was cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed. there were good heating appliances too and the photos matched the description well. it was good value and would happily recommend to others. thanks Deborah!
