I rented this Air BNB for my parents for a gift to them. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive host and they had nothing but phenomenal things to say once arriving home!

The chalet was a perfect home base for our stay in the valley over a birthday weekend. Derek gave us clear instructions ahead of time, we had no trouble getting in. We were able to just crash and watch TV the first night in front of the electric fireplace. Second night we hit the hot tub which we needed after a long hike. We found good restaurants in Front Royal and Luray (Osteria Maria, Chop House Bistro) and for coffee in the morning Broad Porch. Check out was also easy, we just needed to strip the beds and take out the trash. And of course we loved being able to bring our doggo. My fiancee had previously been hosted by Derek and we would definitely stay here again.

Rich & Brittany have a lovely tiny house in a beautiful area! Their place is cozy, clean and has all the creature comforts, plus a nice big hot tub on a nearly wrap around deck and a big yard with a fire pit, with plenty of firewood, courtesy of R & B. If you're wanting to drive up a long and winding road in the mountains of West Virginia, to a cozy tiny house, that's "just right"? Then, Goldilocks will be much pleased! I recently stayed at a cabin rental near the Shenandoah River, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and providing a spacious yard for outdoor activities. Inside, the cabin was just as spacious and inviting. After a long day of hiking, exploring, and fishing, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect way to unwind! The owners were incredibly responsive and kind. The gentleman went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, with thoughtful gestures that made our stay even more special. Overall, I loved my experience and will definitely be visiting again. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to have a much needed R&R weekend trip, we did not leave the house all weekend except to go into the barn for some games of pool! The view was great and all around we enjoyed a peaceful setting! The hot tub was clean, and we really enjoyed the projector for watching some shows/movies!

Our stay at the cabin was great! Very remote location but felt extremely safe. Our dog, Olive, was able to run around and play and she loved it as well.

My family of 4 plus our 2 fur babies had the best time at Julie’s home. The house is beautiful and unique with all the original remnants of wood and brick. It’s clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities. The pictures don’t do this house justice, honestly. The property is very private. We hardly saw any neighbors. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer, hot tub, couches outside, bathrobes, etc. we appreciated the tea, chocolate, wine and flowers left for us, too. Such a pleasant surprise, really! There are plenty of things to do around in the area. We had a great time. Thank you, Julie, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home with our entire family.

We enjoyed staying in Kristiane’s Airbnb. The living area had a very “cool vibe” to it and she was helpful and prompt about answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Awesome place! The peacocks/peahens are right outside and you can just walk out of the building to say hello to them, the chickens, and the goats/sheep. There is a little play set my 2.5 year old was able to play on and it’s a quick drive to Harper’s ferry. We would definitely come back! Great for kids.

Jeffrey & Leisa’s guest suite was just the relaxing getaway that we needed! Our dog loved their property and was fascinated watching their chickens, geese, ducks, and turkey (at a distance of course!). The suite was private with a layout that made the space feel large. We appreciate that they were able to accommodate our last-minute booking and very promptly help us with a question that came up. Highly recommend for your next getaway to wild, wonderful WV!

My old college friends and I had a wonderful time at Cedarbank. The beautifully decorated modern construction "cabin" was roomy-yet incredibly cozy. The hosts thought of everything - from the welcome/information folder and the complimentary bottle of wine to the extra throw blankets and emergency flashlights for just in case. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and in addition to the spacious bedrooms, there were multiple decks outside for gathering, swinging on the porch swing or stargazing. The private, tranquil and wooded setting was only 15 minutes from shops, restaurants and the entrance to Skyline Drive. When we asked at the last minute where we could get firewood for the living room fireplace, the hosts responded quickly with a couple easy options. We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway there!

We had a great time and the check in process was seamless. Keith was proactive and very responsive.

This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.
