We enjoyed Richards house for a week while spending time in Whangarparoa . It was perfect for us and affordable. We made fresh herb salads from the garden and loved the fresh honeycomb on vogel's toast in the morning. Fresh eggs and strawberries were a great bonus- Loved having all the doors open on a sunny day - a great beachy zen spot. Highly recommended . It's not 5 star swank... however it is down to earth comfortable and a much loved property with everything we needed. Beds very comfortable too.

Wir haben uns bei Cole sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage der Unterkunft war super, sehr ruhig und man war aber auch sehr schnell in Downtown Auckland. Das Haus war wie auf den Bildern beschrieben vor allem der Außenbereich war traumhaft schön mit einem Kamin auf der Terrasse und einem Jacuzzi. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und die Gastfreundschaft.

Had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly friendly and super responsive to any questions. The location was ideal, close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. I especially loved the little touches which made it feel like a home away from home. Bonus got to spend the whole weekend in a lavish swimming pool!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place!

Our Family (2 Adults, 2 Children 5y & 3Y) had a fantastic stay. The location was quiet and close enough to everything. Beautiful Walking track 2 mins from the front door which feels very distant from the city location. The Pool, which is the perfect size for the property, is great for the kids and deep enough for adults to soak in, it also feels very safe with the fencing. The kid's rooms are perfect for children up to their teenage years and the master bedroom is comfortable and has a good view of the backyard (Tramp and Pool), allowing you to relax from inside and watch kids outside. Off-street parking is covered and easy to access and the living area and kitchen are all nice and family friendly. Thanks again for hosting us and we look forward to returning one day.

Monica is a warm and gracious host and we loved having the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful home. It is an impressive Americal style country house, showcasing fascinating treasures. The living area is warm and welcoming, with large windows providing beautiful country panoramas. All rooms have interesting nooks to relax in and the attractive, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms are wonderfully functional.

I had a wonderful stay at Sam’s place! The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. Sam was a good host: friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, offering helpful local tips and making sure everything went smoothly. I especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay feel like home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Auckland.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from many harbourfront restaurants, cafés and bars and great to have the sunrooms overlooking the water Kim was brilliant, helpful and fast to communicate and we had a great stay The included Gym and Pool are 30 seconds walk from the apartment and that was a bonus Thanks, Kim

Lynne is truly the best host we’ve ever had. She welcomed us with a big smile, warmth, and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. The place is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views, excellent bedding, and beautiful furniture. Everything was thoughtfully prepared,homemade muffins (they were amazing!), snacks, chocolates, and even asking for our milk and wine preferences! Her hospitality truly went above and beyond. Lynne made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We left feeling relaxed and really appreciated the care she put into every detail. Coincidentally, I lived in Sarah's property about 15 years ago, so booking a stay was a no-brainer. It's ideally located for Mt Eden Village, Eden Park stadium, and on all bus routes into and around the city. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, with all the amenities you would expect. The bed was comfortable, and the smart TV has all the apps for watching local TV, or streaming all the usual services. Sarah was very accommodating, and responsive - probably the most responsive host I have had throughout the world. Would highly recommend Sarah's property.

Róisín was the absolute best during those three weeks I stayed at her place. Looked exactly like the photos, clean and cozy, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, close to everything. I’d say Róisín went above and beyond to make me feel at home, but that feels wrong to say considering she didn’t have to, her energy and friendliness felt so natural, she truly is a beautiful human being. If anyone wants to spend a few weeks in Auckland or get settled before finding a permanent place, this is the place to stay. I’ll remember endless conversations and laughter and am so thankful to have met Róisín.

Fantastic location with direct park access. The most wonderful deck with great views- a joy in summer. Please note: this place doesn’t have an oven or a freezer and the bathroom is tiny, but we managed to make this place our home for a month during renovations. It may not be the ritz but it certainly does have character and a super accommodating host (with the friendliest, loveliest dog- Ziggy is definitely a highlight)

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

We have had the most amazing time staying at the villa, it was even better than the photos. The house was absolutely beautiful, huge and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful linen, the kitchen had lovely tableware, an amazing coffee machine and everything we needed and the pool was just the best fun! Channy was extremely responsive to messages and made out check in and check out very easy. Thank you so much Channy we will definitely love to stay here again!

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

Incredible location and home for a large group looking to spend time together. We were four adult couples and two toddlers. The space was perfect, having a bunk room and separate lounge for the little ones with enough bathrooms and privacy in different zones around the house. Direct beach access, quick walk to the local shop, cafe, playground and surfclub. Can't wait to come back!

Absolutely loved it stay at Cindy’s place! Communication was great from the start, instructions for the driveway and access to the keys was simple. The house was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen big fridge and freezer, so many outdoor seating areas as well as a large indoor table and multiple places to just sit and look at the pristine view. Well suited for a group of 10. Beds were all made, linens, towels and pillows were al great. It was so handy having everything provided and ready for us on arrival. With a big storm the night we arrived we had a nice time having dinner at the table, then sitting in the lounge with plenty of seats for us all. The stunning weather the next day meant we could enjoy the amazing outdoor space. Very walkable to Hatfields beach, also to Orewa but we chose to drive there as likely to be picking up groceries! A place we would book again for sure! Thank you for having us!

We had the most beautiful stay at Shaileshs place. The views are amazing, epic sunsets and sunrises. It’s super peaceful with the sounds of nature all around you! We held a family event at the property and everything was perfectly set up for entertaining. Shailesh was a wonderful host, they super responsive and helpful, and even left very thoughtful touches which made our stay even more special. Would definitely recommend this property and host!

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home.
