There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

We are the closest Bed & Breakfast to Hobbiton which is just 2km up the road. Lie in bed & watch the sun rise over the Kaimai Range. Spectacular rural views from this purpose built BnB. We provide a luxury King size bed with quality linen. There is a modern, spacious bathroom with a luxurious walk in shower. Centrally located, with less than an hours drive to Rotorua, Tauranga or Hamilton. Mystery Creek Events Centre (Feildays Site) 35 minutes. Waitomo Caves 1½ hours away.

With rustic charm and views of open farmland, the Kaimai ranges and Mt Te Aroha it really is a place to relax and unwind from the busyness of life. If you love the outdoors then this is the place for you, we are located close to the Hauraki Cycle Trail and within close proximity of lots of amazing bush walks including Waiorongomai Valley, Wairere Falls and Mt Te Aroha summit.

This properties entrance is on the Hauraki Cycle Trail, only 2.5 km from town. The cottage is surrounded by farm land. You will have exclusive use of this 3 bedroom country home which easily accommodates 7 people. An 11 minute drive to the sensational Wairere Falls bush walk . 17 minutes to Hobbiton Movie set . Has foam mattresses for groups up to 11 as well as a portacot. Please be aware of electric fences on driveway( but not near house surroundings )

"The Old Church" Boutique Accommodation

Our wonderful home is a converted Catholic Church, built in 1954 which we were lucky enough to buy in 1996. It offers a unique and special stay, full of character with a peaceful atmosphere. A great place to spend time relaxing or exploring the beautiful area we live in. To add to this, Café 77 is situated right across the road in what was once the old derelict Manawaru Dairy Factory. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm daily and we can highly recommend!
