Its off the beaten track a little, and if you like that sort of thing and the only sounds will be mother nature's animals and birds calling out to each other in the surrounding countryside. It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. So we are very centrally located in the West. Peace and Tranquillity Ahoy!

Two fabulous beaches are just a short walk away - one is sheltered and secluded, and around the corner from there is the famous Kilcummin Back Strand - wide open to the waves.

It's located close to many beautiful beaches, in one of the most scenic spots along the Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. The views from the cottage are simply breathtaking.

The cottage is situated in an idyllic location just 10 minutes from the local town of Clifden. A short 8 minute walk will bring you to the renown Fountainhill Beach, one of Connemaras best swimming beaches. The area is full with activities to suit everyone, all situated on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way!

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.

The glamping site is based on a small farm with alpacas, chickens, pygmy goats and sheep.
