The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

A mile from Old Fort's breweries, shops, winery & restaurants. Minutes to I-40 & Black Mountain. Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Chimney Rock & Biltmore House are a short drive. Whether a short getaway or longer stay, it's perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (kids too). Peaceful Creekside Cabin near Little Switzerland

This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek.
