The house was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of space to spread out and have our own space, but also a wonderful central space to spend time together over meals and playing games. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The kitchen was fabulous and stocked with what we needed for the basics. We will definitely consider staying her again when we are back in the area.

Squirrel Hill cabin had us contemplating a cross country move from NJ to SD. The space was exactly as pictured, if not better. The play set in the yard was perfect for my two young kids (3 and 4); we enjoyed the hot tub in both 80 degree sunny days and during the snow; game room in the bunkhouse was a huge hit as well as the loft and board games - we played monopoly every morning while watching the wildlife. The house had very thoughtful touches throughout from high-end bathroom products to the welcome bag of popcorn. Megan is also the perfect host! She graciously allowed us to check in a few hours early to get settled and checked on us for anything we may need throughout our stay. Her local guidebook was a nice complement to our already planned adventures and was very thorough. If you’re looking in this area… STAY HERE! <3

This is the first airbnb where the pictures didn't do the property justice! I walked into a clean enormous property and they had music playing to welcome my group! The pool was refreshing, the host was accommodating, and our large group had plenty of space. I will be staying here again!!

This place was wonderful and the property was so beautiful. Every morning woke up to turkeys and deer on the property. The hot tub was amazing. 🤩 house was very clean and convenient to Sturgis, Deadwood and Rapid City.

Cozy! My family and I felt right at home staying here! My kids loved to watch the wildlife. So peaceful in the trees, everything we needed was provided and more! We will for sure be staying here again!

Comfortable house just 5 minutes from Rapid City

Stayed at Cynthia’s place with family and place was exactly as described. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi on the first day and Cynthia didn’t stop until the issue was resolved. Coffee bar was great, hot tub was enjoyed, and lots of room for everyone (9 guests). Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

My group initially found it a little odd staying in someone's home (as opposed to a full-time rental), but the house was clean, comfortable, and spacious so we got over it quickly. Kaleigh was quick to respond to communication and we had no complaints. Would stay again if ever in the area again.

Awesome place!! Family of 6, stayed for state wrestling and we loved the location. Close to rapid, but out far enough you felt like you were in the hills. The wild turkeys were awesome!! Giant flocks pass by. We loved the playground, hot tub and playing pool! They were kind enough to send us our baby’s blanket that we accidentally left. 10/10 would recommend.

we had a great getaway to the black hills and since the weather wasn’t the best we were super grateful to have such a beautiful cabin in the woods to hang out in and relax together. it was spacious, clean, and in a quiet, serene location. our family enjoyed our stay and we know others will too!

This was my second stay with Bryce at this property. Great place to stay parking right next to the house on a concrete driveway. Clean comfortable house feels new with cozy soft beds. Near downtown restaurants grocery store etc. Bryce is a great his quick to answer any questions or concerns. Will definitely stay again if available next time in the area . 5 stars

Black Hills Retreat ~ 3 Mi to ATV Trails!

We very highly recommend this place! Teresa was a delight to deal with. Very personable She was so attentive to making sure we knew what events was going on in the area. She even sent us recommendations on trails that we should do when hiking. The bonus though was Willie the dog! He greeted us every afternoon as we pulled in and was ready to play ball Will definitely stay there again if we ever get to go back in the future.

This was such a great place to stay! The house was beautiful and had everything we could think of to make our trip great. There were a lot of amenities for traveling with kids. Everything was extremely clean and organized. I highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to the black hills.

Large House, Perfect Location for Black Hills Fun!

We enjoyed our stay at Bryce’s place! The home had plenty of space for our kids and we had fun playing pool together. We were staying in Sturgis and driving to Lead for our son’s basketball tournament. The drive was so pretty and it was an easy and convenient place to stay. I would definitely recommend Bryce’s house for families, you’ll have plenty of room!

Hidden Gem in Historic Home

Little Elk Cottage in Beautiful Vanocker Canyon

Most enjoyable stay we've had. We were greeted by a chipmunk on the front porch, a fresh smelling, clean house and a feeling of hominess. Deer joined us every evening along with several sets of turkeys. The solitude of returning to a quiet 5 acres, after busy days of enjoying the many historical and interesting activities in the area, made for a peaceful, restorative vacation. It's obvious the owners care about their guests comforts and have done measurable work over the years to maintain the property. Be sure to read the binder on the table about "Wolfgang's Trails". Very interesting, and I'm sure he and his son's many efforts are much appreciated by those who enjoy hiking in the area. We appreciated the promptness of communications and the kindnesses shown. Thanks, Kathleen and Wolfgang for a great stay.

Renovated Home, Heart of Sturgis

The property was way better than described in the listing. Very clean, homey and in good shape. We had no problems with anything in the house. Cindy is one of the very best hostess we have ever rented from. She answered every question asked and had a lot of extra input of the surrounding areas. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Timi’s place was absolutely perfect for our vacation. The house and view were amazing. Timi was extremely helpful throughout the months leading up to the trip, during the trip and even after check in. She left goodies for us when we checked in, and had so many recommendations on places to see and eat. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We look forward to booking here again for another vacation. We loved meeting the neighbor Blue.

Beautiful Large Home With Gorgeous Views

A beautiful big house for two families of four to spread out and come together as a group. Plenty of things for our kids to play with and do. A beautiful backyard view of the hills with cows and deer roaming the fields. It was the perfect quiet place to come back to relax and unwind after a long day of utv riding and touring. Thank you for sharing your home with our families. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful home! Everything was as described in the listing. The kitchen was well-supplied. The beds were super comfortable and the linens were high quality. Charlie was quick to respond to our questions. We visited all the surrounding sites (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Bad Lands, Custer, Teddy Roosevelt NP, and of course, Deadwood and Sturgis). This place is in a nice neighborhood, but right off the highway so easy access and centrally located to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Vanocker Canyon is one of my drives out of Sturgis. Her place is close to Nemo which is a very fun place to go. What I enjoyed the most was the peace and quiet as you are out of town. Star viewing was fantastic since the is virtually no light noise. I will definitely go back. Tim Adams

The house was not only in an amazing location less than an hour away from most main attractions but it felt like home. The house was amazingly clean, Kathy and Brad were both very helpful during our stay and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. House was stocked with everything you could imagine you would need. Would definitely recommend this house for anyone going to the Rapid City area!
