What an awesome house, Soekie our host was just superb. The house was all we expected rooms amazing. The game drive that Soekie organized was amazing and we saw 3 of the big 5. Would definitely recommend this for a family or larger group the rooms give you all a space to retreat to when you need to wind down. We will be back.

Great option for big groups. Lovely setting - away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Heidi and Chris were extremely responsive and friendly. Loved the game drive with Chris - very relaxed and insightful.

What an incredible stay and once again it was just beautiful. From the rhino to the fishing, the bird life and peace was just 10/10! We enjoyed the privacy, and of course the wildlife and the hosts are incredible. Obed is friendly and a great man and Derryn was always in contact and we would recommend The Rock House to anymore wanting to get away from it all and find paradise. We baked bread, fished, canoed and had a braai each night.

Derryn’s place was everything we hoped for and wanted ! It looks absolutely stunning and amazing . It looks exactly as advertised and his staff lead by Obed as well are absolutely wonderful people. We look forward to coming back here again in the new future. I would recommend to drive there with bigger cars however, it just makes the experience to get there a lot faster . Otherwise we are thankful to Derryn for hosting us !

Our stay at Butterfly Cottage was exceptional. The sunsets are breathtaking making it an unforgettable romantic getaway. The cottage is homely and comfortable, with everything you need. Philip's presentation about the stars was informative, comfortable and awe-inspiring. I'm not sure what we enjoyed the most - the pool, the cottage, the tuckshop, the horses, the bushveld, the game drive or the stars. Our stay was so much more than just a weekend getaway, it was an experience of excellence. I highly recommend you do as much as you can, you won't regret it!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. There is so much to do on the game farm - we particularly enjoyed our game drives with André who is super knowledgeable and just great (the drives are subject to availability and at an additional fee). Lorraine and André went out of their way to make our stay fantastic (thank you both so much again!). We also really enjoyed our accommodation, especially the crisp white linen and the fully equipped kitchen! And everything is so clean! The view is also lovely, and it’s such a peaceful spot - one is really immersed in nature. Would love to go back, can only highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this game farm. It was beatiful, quiet and relaxing. They had a list of animals they have on the property and we saw quite a few. I really love that they are pet friendly. The houses are fully fenced and the yards are huge. My dogs really enjoyed the stay for sure. We enjoyed the game drives and we met some of the very friendly staff. Zachariah was friendly and helped with anything we needed. We will definitely come back for another stay.

We enjoyed 2 wonderfully peaceful days at Waterwood Lodge. The ability to be immersed in nature yet still have all the home comforts is what characterizes this lodge the most for us. It’s a beautifully appointed house & a real bonus to be able to walk & experience the bush. Very friendly staff & Derryn is helpful & available. Well worth a visit.
