Lilac Cottage in Melville

Our cottage, with backup Solar and Water Tanks to ensure our guests stay comfortable, is tucked away under a big sweet gum tree. Guarded by our two friendly Chow Chow dogs the cottage looks out on our pool and has its own outside patio and braai area. Inside the cottage is a cozy studio apartment with a kitchenette, study nook with WiFi, a cupboard and a comfortable double bed. The separate modern bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and soap.

Perfect contained room

We have recently installed solar panels and battery-backup to cope with the loadshedding as well as a large water storage tank for water outages Snug cozy contained room has a double bed, kitchenette with two gas plates and bathroom with a shower. It's not the biggest space (23,5 square metres) but has almost everything you need for a stay in one of Johannesburg's beautiful old tree-lined suburbs. The area is safe and close to the train.

A three-story cottage consisting of:- Downstairs kitchen, lounge with 2 sleeper couches, dining area and "guest loo". A mezzanine level with a full bathroom, TV lounge and braai (barbeque) deck. Loft with Queen-size bed. Whilst the cottage can accommodate 4 people it is a bit small for 4 adults and more suitable for families with children. High-speed internet (100mb).
