Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Just two minutes walk to beneath Stevenson's spectacular Britannia Bridge and following on to the coastal path and the Menai Strait; just 1 mile to the famous Thomas Telford suspension bridge. Conveniently located approximately 2 miles from the university and city of Bangor and the hospital, and a very short drive to a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. An ideal base for fishing, walking, cycling and exploring the beautiful North Wales coast and the stunning Snowdonia mountain range.
