We were very impressed with the location and the apartment. Couldn’t have asked for any more! The host was really friendly and helpful, when we mentioned we would get to Manchester early he offered an early check in for a small fee which was worth it. We were also advised on getting on free parking space very nearby.

We enjoyed our stay at Davis's place. It was quiet and peaceful and had everything we need. We stayed to visit the two football stadiums and visit Manchester City and staying here meant that we had easy to access to all using the tram. An added bonus is the Media City access within walking distance including restaurants and bars. The perfect location for me and my teenage son. Davis was so accommodating, welcoming us to the apartment and keeping in touch whenever we needed him. On our check-out day, Davis was particularly supportive when our travel plans changed last minute and he supported us with a slightly later check out time which was so helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.

For the time we stayed there, the host Paul was great! & couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

We couldn't have chosen a better base for our walking weekend starting out on Offa's Dyke Path. We were 4 couples and Freckles the dog, each able to have an ensuite room with double bed. The kitchen accommodated us comfortably with a large table and most appliances doubled up making it easy to feed 8 hungry people. The lounge too was spacious and great for relaxing in after a hard day's walking. The house was lovely and warm which was just what we needed after a day of sun, wind, rain and hail! We treated ourselves to a meal out on the Saturday evening at The Piccadilly Inn which was one of several recommendations from Russ and the food we had was fantastic, as was the service. Russ is an excellent host, very communicative, very responsive, giving lots of detail and very helpful suggestions of places to visit. One of the best hosts I have encountered in fact! If we are in the area again we will definitely check to see if his place is free before looking at any other accommodation!

Peter’s place was exactly as it looks in the photos, finished to a high standard, and clean throughout. We had sky tv & Netflix throughout the house (including the cinema room), and enjoyed the easy to use Sonos-style speakers that are situated throughout the house. There are walkable shops and pubs in the village nearby and it’s a short drive to Tatton Park, Quarry Bank or Alderley Edge if you’re looking for outdoor walks. The pond & stream in the garden are great to look out upon and provide a peaceful setting. Everything was straight forward but Peter was easily contactable if we needed him. A great stay overall and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The pictures don’t match up to how lovely the place is. The house has a lot of modern features and furniture which contrasted well with the look of the house. Very big and spacious house. The hosts responded quickly if I ever had a query. Came with 9 friends and we would definitely all like to come again and I do recommend

Geoff was a wonderful and very responsive host, the home was beautiful and exactly as advertised, everything was clean and tidy and it was overall a very cozy, romantic vibe. Couldn’t ask for any more, would deffo come back!

Beautiful little place right next to the races, 2 mins from town. The paking recomended was ideal, and we managed to unload the car first outside. Be careful on the heating as the radiators get really hot (obvious maybe) my daughter ended up with a small burn but nothing major - more if you have small children with you - we just had it on for a short time when we had a PJ party! We would absolutley go again - hoping to book for later this year. Thank Michelle. :)

Truly a home from home. Nathan has thought of everything - we really didn’t want for anything. He was super helpful dropping a travel cot off for us on the first night. If you’re on the fence don’t hesitate, book it! Should we ever need oaklands again I would book it in a heartbeat. Perfect for families with open space and garden. Not to mention the toys that my three little boys were super excited to explore. Thanks again 😊

Really friendly host. Check in was really easy and he was flexible around our plans. There is a tram a short walk away into Manchester, ideal location with some lovely parks and brunch spots only a 5 minute walk away.

Jude was an absolutely amazing host, she really went the extra mile to make our stay more comfortable. From the toys for our baby boy to the lovely bottle of fizz, even the kind offer to look after our baby so we could get some rest after a particularly bad teething episode kept us up. nothing was too much trouble, and our requests were accepted with no problem. the house itself is beautiful, the sofas and bed are soooo comfortable!! lovely and clean and lots of space for the little one to run around and explore. the views and garden were beautiful. The trip was speacial as it was booked to celebrate my first mothers day as a parent, and Jude helped make it that extra lovely!

The cozy love nest was great. We really enjoyed our time using the outdoor cinema and jacuzzi, it was the perfect setting for a romantic evening. The hosts friendly cat Tiger, who greeted us every time we returned from the city, was a delightful added bonus. They really made us feel at home, and I would highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful place to stay and felt so relaxed in the lovely kitchen and lounge. Fab games room and the cinema room was amazing which was enjoyed by everyone. Would definitely stay again, had everything you could want. Beautifully decorated.
