We were staying in this house with a group of friends for hiking around Beacon. The area is pristine and beautiful and not very far from the mountains. The place itself was spotless, has everything that we needed and the beds were comfortable, also it was quite spacious. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

I've stayed in several places around the area over the years, This was a bit of a gem however. The site itself has plenty of amenities but is also very conveniently located. it's even well enough known in the community that restaurants can easily deliver. After a birthday spent walking the hills, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax and the house itself was wonderfully warm and well furnished. I would absolutely visit again and recommend to others.

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this gem of a place in the Brecon Beacons. The location is perfect — peaceful, scenic, and just a short drive from some of the best walking trails and waterfalls in the national park. The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the sound of birds and views of rolling hills was pure bliss. Our host was incredibly welcoming and provided great local tips, including a few hidden spots we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. The nights were especially magical — clear skies, zero light pollution, a log burner to cozy up beside, and a hot tub. We’ll definitely be back for another escape into nature! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, explore, and soak in the beauty of Wales.

Fantastic cottage & location, felt right at home. Lovely garden & view with a stream where we saw red kites, a heron & rabbits. We enjoyed lovely walks & scenery & recommend the nearby Welsh Rarebit Centre. We will definitely return.

Gwen, Colin, Debs and the Cantref Adventure Farm team were excellent hosts making our stay in the Brecon area comfortable and easy. They were very organised prior to check-in ensuring the wood-fired hot tub was ready when we arrived and even including a thoughtful welcome package of Prosecco, fresh milk and juice for the kids. Colin was very helpful with the kindling for the hot tub. The cottages are clean and well equipped with some modern finishes. We liked the heated floors :-)) Thanks again for everything!

Just back from a short stay in Hannah’s Cottage. We had a lovely time in this cosy and well appointed cottage. John was so helpful with info re local walks, activities and weather updates (!) The cottage was perfect for us and our two dogs with the meadow opposite for quick walks and then detailed instructions on how to get to a lovely waterfall walk left for us specifically as I’d asked about that type of walk. A bit isolated for my 15 yr old but the WiFi worked in all rooms so he was happy!

Absolutely adored this property. My friend and I both agreed it's the best place we've stayed, we are regular travellers so this is high praise! Fantastic location with walks straight from the front door. Great property exactly as described with a lovely hamper and everything you could need in the kitchen. This is the perfect property for a break in the Waterfall County! I would happily stay here again and it will be my first choice when I do return!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were so lucky to have the waterfalls right on our doorstep! It was a really beautiful location. The beds were super comfy (no cheap mattresses with mattress toppers here), the place was warm and there was ample hot water. The garden was a wonderful bonus too. Cannot fault it!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful. I had stated that we'd be arriving late and we were so grateful that a lamp had been left on for us inside. It was peaceful and well equipped. We even had fresh scones waiting on the table for us.

Stacey and Helen‘s place is the perfect location for exploring the beacons. Really nice and quiet location with amazing views they were very accommodating and allowed me to leave later so I could do another walk before leaving. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower works well and beds very comfy. Would definitely recommend this place

What a place. Fantastic property with everything to make it a home from home. The property is better than the pictures, the location is wonderful and the hosts couldn’t be more attentive. Communication spot even, even as a last minute booking.

Delightful, spacious and well maintained cottage in the centre of Brecon. Everything was very comfortable with carefully chosen antiques and probably every book written about Wales. The location was just perfect for me and was easy to find. Sally was a great host!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans le cottage de Michaela et Megan. L'accueil a été très chaleureux, le feu était allumé lorsque nous sommes arrivés et l'ambiance vraiment cosy nous a charmés. La vue depuis la maison est superbe. Le logement est pratique, tous les équipements sont de qualité et la literie et très confortable. Michaela et Megan se sont montrées disponibles durant tout le séjour, elles ont veillé à ce que tout se passe bien, et une telle communication est vraiment appréciable.

We had fabulous time. If you are looking for peaceful ,cosy and quiet location this place is perfect choice. It is also close to hiking and walking routes. Owner is friendly, proactive and always happy to help. Highly recommended.

Sonny’s place was great ! Very clean and did us lovely for the 1 night we wanted it for , definitely recommend to anybody stopping by for a short trip , had everything you need in the house. Sonny kindly also put the hot tub on for us and was all set up and warm by the time we got there, lovely views from the back garden and friendly neighbours. Thank you !

Really lovely house and felt so at home here. James was really lovely and put some decorations out as it was my daughter’s 18th. The only thing we found was as a couple of fruit shoot bottles under the sofa that clearly hadn’t been cleaned, but couldn’t fault anything else at all. Would definitely stay again.
