We continue by sharing the history of Commercial cigar rolling in Florida which began with small-scale operations by Cuban immigrants in the 1830s, and blossomed in to the "cigar Capital of the World", with Pioneers like Vicente martinez Ybor and Eduardo Manrara. Next we visit our pettit GALERA to experience each manufacturing stage: PRIMARY PROCESS - This is where you get to see firsthand the different types of tobacco and the aging process. Here you will see and learn how various tobaccos are sorted. DEVEINING - The removal of the center vein is a critical process of preparing the tobacco, and we will show you how it is done. TWISTING & ROLLING - Constructing a cigar is a 3 step process. See our Master Torcedores, twist, bind, press and roll our premium cigars. PACKING - Once cigars have been rolled they undergo further aging, before they're label and packaged for distribution. For safety, we recommend to wear closed shoes. During the tour, guests are invited to enjoy (1) complimentary cigar. Other things to note To enhance the experience, you are free to take pictures, videos and ask questions.

A golf-cart tour of Wynwood will give you a good understanding of the layout, magnitude, and history of the Wynwood Art District, allowing you to see hundreds of murals in all corners of the area as well as many opportunities to take pictures where you choose. When you join me on a golf cart tour of Wynwood, you will have the comfort of the ride but the immediacy that the open air provides. Even driving at a low speed, I will have time to take you to areas of Wynwood that a walking tour cannot reach and tourists are unlikely to find on their own. Wynwood is a literal magnet for artists, who use every surface available from blank fire walls to warehouses, to light poles, and leafless trees. Murals show up in parking lots, by railroad tracks, on schools, and houses, in an ever-expanding and ever-changing area. I will tell you as much as our time allows about artists both invited and not, about their techniques, and show you what some developers have done to try and preserve murals. I will show you some of the best out-of-the-way restaurants, and the spots where Wynwood people brew their own beer, and tell you about the fate of galleries in a rapidly rising real-estate market. Have you ever felt the lure of the forbidden graffiti? Are you inspired by the gorgeous street art murals in Wynwood? Then sign up for our Wynwood Graffiti Experience and try your hand at spray paint! In the middle of the mural-filled art district, your class will be set up in a parking lot. When you arrive at the Wynwood Graffiti Experience, we will have canvas panels set up for the group along with a table-full of spray paint of all colors. Masks and gloves will be on hand for personal protection. Although we rarely have issues with ruining clothes, it is best to come in something comfortable that you won’t mind having a few paint dots on. We start with the very basics: how to hold, angle and handle the spray can and manipulate the pressure and length of the spray to paint dots of different sizes, lines of different widths, and to write letters. Then we move on to some more complex skills, like creating a drop shadow, making backgrounds and patterns, and doing a color gradient. After going through the skills of the lesson, you will create your own artwork using the skills you learned and your own creativity. I will work alongside you the whole time.
