Our stay at the charming bed and breakfast was a delight! From the warm welcome to the friendly atmosphere, we felt right at home. The hot tub was a highlight, where we soaked while enjoying stunning nature views and even spotted deer nearby. Mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings watching the sunset were pure bliss. Our hosts were accommodating, offering great local recommendations while respecting our privacy. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this bed and breakfast is a hidden gem. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

This is a beautiful cottage with a huge hot tub me and my partner had an amazing stay here with all the amenities you could want and more it was so clean and felt right at home here 5 stars from us we will define be returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely, homely cottage in a great location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. The Killingworth Castle (cosy local gastropub) is just a 5 min walk away from the property. A perfect base for a long weekend in the country.

Had an amazing valentines stay here with my partner. Clare was the perfect host and the barn was the perfect property for our stay. Very quaint, peaceful and secluded. With lovely views over the farmland and a short drive from some beautiful towns

Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! My husband, my three boys and my mom stayed at this fabulous cottage over the long Easter weekend and we had an absolute blast! We took up so many of David’s recommendations from dinner and spa at the gorgeous Pig hotel to taking the boys to catch trout at the farm in Bibury. Thankfully the kitchen was very well stocked for the giant trout dinner we then prepared! We really enjoyed dinner at the village pub which was a short walk from the house and every evening we retired to the hot tub to unwind from a busy day. My boys were thrilled with the toys and games and especially the football nets in the garden. They had a lovely attentive audience of cows as well :-). We also visited cirencester and the massive garden center in Burford. The beds were very comfortable and bedding felt high quality as well which is not always the case with airbnbs. There were so many thoughtful details from the welcome bottle of bubbles to little notes as to how to care for the plants. Will be back!

Great stay, the hosts were great at communicating information, the location was peaceful and tranquil. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from there busy lives to truely unwind. Would love to stay again

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Location was good for exploring the local area. Beware if you are tall, there are a couple of low doorways. Very comfortable stay.

My family loved our stay at Old Forge. Our children— aged 4 and 7– had a blast running around the yard and having their own secluded room on the upper level. We all enjoyed the rustic wildlife decor and the lovely view of the field. The cottage was cozy yet spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Make sure to get dinner at the local spot— The Golden Ball Inn! Stow was a very short drive away with plenty of nice shops and restaurants and a Tesco for our grocery needs. We didn’t end up getting a chance to walk the paths nearby, but we saw plenty of spots we could have done so— and with any luck someday we can return to Old Forge and get to walk around. I’d highly recommend Old Forge for anyone staying in the Cotswolds, esp with children!

This is a beautiful property that exceeded expectations. The host was very welcoming and had everything we needed when we got there. I would highly recommend it.

Rosemary's cottage is fabulous. As soon as you walk inside you immediately feel at home. It is spotlessly clean, lovely furniture, pristine kitchen/dining room with all the appliances you would need, very comfortable beds, lovely linen and huge, fluffy towels. The garden is very neat with lovely patio furniture, perfect for that afternoon bottle of fizz in the sunshine. It is a 15/20 minute walk into Stratford Upon Avon whereby there are some lovely walks, great restaurants and bars and all the Shakespeare culture you need for the perfect weekend. Also, which was a bonus to us, was that there is parking for 2 cars on the drive. We were celebrating my mums 80th birthday which is a birthday my mum won't forget. Thank you Rosemary for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

Really gorgeous home for a short break, lovely decor and all essentials you need. The fresh flowers were a beautiful touch. Would definitely recommend and visit again x

Accommodation was spot on, ideal for our small group and the dog. Parking was also fine, was concerned at first as it was on street parking in he village but when we arrived there was plenty of space for us. Used the cottage as a base so didn't explore the immediate area that much but did wander round the village with the dog and it had a lovely feel to it. All in all, suited all of us for our weekend break.

The best things about this property are really how peaceful and quiet it is, whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house itself, whilst small, has everything you need. Very well thought out, with great little touches. Kind hosts. It was lovely sitting outside in the courtyard, reading with a coffee, whilst the sun was coming down and the owl swooping by.

This was our second visit to this charming and totally unique cottage and we again took full advantage of the lovely walks around. The surrounding grounds were blessed with many wild spring flowers and we spent a considerable time just sitting on the bench enjoying the peaceful area and sound of the woodpecker etc.. Visits to Oxford (the Ashmolean) and Stratford-upon-Avon (quieter in the mornings) and visits to the surrounding villages added to our enjoyment.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The beds were so comfy and every room was so homely. It looked exactly like the photos and was easy to find. We would 100% recommend for a perfect stay.
