Absolutely loved our stay! Nice little getaway to celebrate our wedding and birthday. Would definitely recommend!!!

My brother loved the cabin. On our way home my brother would repeatedly tell us that he loves the place (he’s non verbal) and that he wants to go back! We enjoyed our stay there but the only downfall was that it was cold and chilly and we didn’t get to spend much time outside or get a chance to use the bonfire bit. My son loves the hot tub, kids loved the theatre room. We all got our fair share with the game room in the bunk house. The cabin was a little smaller than how the picture looks but overall it was enough room for the whole family to stay and sleep. Brian was also quick at responding to messages and upbeat with making sure we check in well. Will definitely book again in the future.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and clean ( loved the use of wood, especially photograph frames and mirror.) It's nice that they have water toys available, but carrying kayak and paddle board down a steep flight of stairs to get to the water was a bit daunting. Just something to be aware of that it's not simple if you want to just hop on the water. The fire pit was great, the views and sunsets were amazing. There were strong winds for part of the time we were there and it was great listening to the waves crashing just like the ocean. Overall was a good experience and I would definitely recommend!

Tama and Steve are amazing hosts! Their cabin was well furnished, amazingly organized, and if nothing else, even better in person. Huge bonus points for the N64! Fingers crossed it’s available next year :)

Beautiful, relaxing, and kind. The home itself was perfect, plenty of space and very comfortable. Plenty of options for activities and a gorgeous surrounding. Hosts were fast to respond and very kind.

I had a great stay. I went solo and felt like it was enough room. I loved the back yard and the view of the lake. Our host was very responsive with any questions I had. But I would mention that the window in the bathroom does not have anything from keeping someone to look in. But besides that, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

It was a perfect family trip, thanks to this Airbnb. The place had everything we needed, along with a beautiful view of the Rum River. The campfire and stargazing at night were truly memorable. The host was very responsive and super kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely visit again!

We loved Penny's place located right on the water. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck while viewing the beautiful lake Milacs. Rented a pontoon boat for half a day fron a nearby reresort and hiked in Kathio State Park. Hope to return next year. Thanks for a lovely stay on our 35th Wedding Anniversary.

I was searching for an affordable lake cabin and the Lakeside Lodge was the best bang for our buck. Exactly what we were looking for to unplug, celebrate our last month as a family of 2 and enjoy the views. The lake was frozen over and it was enjoyable to watch all the ice fishers from the cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay inside for a long weekend. Jackson even gave us a sentimental gift upon arrival. We had a very warm welcome. We look forward to coming again.

This cabin provided a nice space for our group of eight, and it had everything we needed. Beds and bedding were “very comfortable”by all accounts. There are lots of thoughtful little touches throughout, like the motion triggered lights and night lights, which made it easy and safe to move around in an otherwise dark and unfamiliar place! We appreciated the different areas where we could all sit and gather together (upstairs, outside, and downstairs). There is a great fire pit, with lots of wood, and plenty of off-road (driveway) parking for all! The basement was very nice and a bit cooler than the upper levels, which was perfect for those in our group who prefer to sleep in a cool setting (e.g., menopausal women)!😊 We absolutely loved the wrap-around deck, views of the lake, and our walks around the neighborhood!! Our hosts, Rich and Tanya, are great communicators and were quick to answer any questions we had during our stay.

This stay was exactly what I needed and was hoping for. It was such a pleasure waking up to this serene view every morning. Thank you for sharing this place!

Perfect location for a small team retreat. Kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils we needed to make meals, the wood fireplace was great. Beautiful view of the lake.
