Beautiful house, private. Around 20 min to stores, etc. When we arrived, the hot tub was in need of balancing (lots of foam), they sent someone out within the hour to take a look. Be aware, while the kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, there are no items such as salt, pepper, coffee filters, or extra trash bags. Overall, house is great. We had a group of seven and never felt crowded.

This was our second time staying at Michelle’s. Both times could not have been better. Michelle’s communication was excellent. The house and property were extremely clean. Internet was sufficient for 2 people to work. The property gave you a private / remote feeling while still being close to major roads and shopping. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

This was a great location for our family. Plenty of space in bedrooms, common area, deck and yard. It was a confortable stay for 10 people. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for the cool evenings. The lake access is a bit of a walk and requires passes. There are people who drive around checking for them. Make sure to follow the guidelines in the house binder and you'll have a great trip!

The rear of property was very peaceful and the river was beautiful! The basement living area of the home was recently renovated and nice place for a couple to use for privacy. We lost water a few hours due to a leak somewhere in town. It was resolved soon enough and Mike provided us with jugs of water to hold us over. All in all we enjoyed our stay in the Rainbow Chalet.

My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights, a long weekend. We’ve stayed in many homes around deep creek, and this was easily our favorite. We’ll definitely be back!

The home is very accommodating for a large group with spacious living area and rooms. The location is peaceful and secluded. The kitchen had all the tools you might need for cooking. Ping pong table was a hit! There are a lot of board games available too. The “kid’s room” is in the basement far from the other rooms, with a door to the outside next to it, just be mindful if you have young kids. Since the home is managed by an outside company it does not offer a stock of cleaning and essential items, so make sure to bring hand soap, tp, trash bags etc.

We loved our stay! House has plenty of space. Loved the hot tub, air hockey table, and puzzles/ board games.

We had a wonderful stay at this house!! The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and was great with communication. The house is clean and comfortable with plenty of space, it felt like being at home. Will definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Lori's place. The home is spacious and clean. We had four little kids with us on the trip and they loved exploring the yard and playing with the toys provided in the living room and shed. The adults in the group enjoyed the hot tub at the end of a long day of activities. We enjoyed the fire pit for roasting smores, and if you have a large enough vehicle (minivan or larger) - you can fit the smaller kayak in the trunk and take it to the lake - which we did! I appreciated all of the small details - lamp lighting, cozy beds, laundry baskets in the closets, coffee maker, gorgeous bathrooms, and a ton of windows/natural lighting. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend vacationing at this home!

Amazing cabin, would 100% come back. It’s super private and beautiful, but you do need 4WD during ice / snow season, which was not an issue for us. This made it more into the wild which we loved.

this was a great stay close to deep creek lake, but away from it all. the cabin had plenty of room for our family to enjoy, and our children loved the toys and games there. the basement was a little musty smelling, but got better once we opened up some windows. i would recommend bringing your own chairs for around the fire pit because there were only two plastic ones. the downstairs shower ran out of hot water super quick, so unfortunately we had to have our family rearrange timing for showers so everyone got a hot one. all in all, it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Pros: the house is great. The jacuzzi, fireplace and deck were all very nice and the whole house has a nice log cabin feel to it. Cons: making the guests bring their own: soap, toilet paper paper towels, spices, shampoo, etc is an extremely silly way to save an extra $10 for the management company that owns this house. The listing does mention that, but it feels weird and cheap, and not what you should do for a $300+ per-night stay. Also- huge dog dump on top of the stairs waiting for us when we got there.

This was the perfect spot for a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway. There were easy-to-follow instructions for check-in and check-out, a very comfortable living space, and it was nice and secluded. The hot tub was clean and ready to use, there were plenty of video games and board games to choose from in the basement, and it’s only a 5-minute stroll downhill to the lake. *Be prepared for the weather and heed the warning about the road conditions if you’re staying in the winter months. Pack enough supplies to last the duration of your stay unless you plan on doing some extra driving.

We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed and matched the photos well. Our only hang up was that there was a blizzard the night before we left and the roads around the home aren’t plowed well or salted. I would definitely recommend 4 wheel drive and snow tires!

The house was clean and beautiful. The view of the lake was amazing. I was happy to spend my birthday there and would do it again. Thank you for having me!

Great value for the cost. Able to relax and enjoy family around the table, around the fire, or watching movies. Fully stocked kitchen provides ability to cook in and the grill is an added benefit, however, make sure to pack any spices that you may need. The only minor issue was the sulphury smelling water, but after the first 12 hours it seemed to dissipate, as if it needed run out. There really is nothing negative that I can say.

We had an amazing stay here! My family met up- from 3 different states- to celebrate Thanksgiving- and it was the perfect place! Kitchen was very well stocked for our meal! Cozy, comfortable, clean and space for everyone. The surroundings were gorgeous as well! We had a toddler with and there was a high chair and travel crib as well. Highly recommend!
