Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and one bathroom. No kitchen. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally (no AC needed). It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

This allows you the option of staying in a fully furnished home at a reasonable rate whether your group is large or small.
