The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Iatt Lake Cabins and Kayaks House Boat

Houseboat on quiet and serene lake. No running water on boat but bathroom is close by. Pets are allowed for a $50 non-refundable fee. Pets must be kenneled if left inside alone, on a leash at all times when outside. and please pick up after your pets. Kayak, paddle boat and pirogue rentals including life jackets and paddles available. Kayak rental - $35/day each or $60/2 days each. Paddleboat, pirogue or tandem kayak rental - $45/day or $70/2 days.
