Justin was an amazing host. My family really enjoyed our stay there. We played softball all weekend. Everything was perfect, we had zero issues. When I return to play again in a couple months I hope this home is available. Highly recommend this rental for any family that likes a peaceful and private environment. I hate we forgot to sign the guest book.

We loved this bnb! It’s secluded, spacious and has a nice seating area outside. The beds were comfortable and it was so clean. We plan on booking this bnb every time we come to visit. And she was very responsive. Thank you so much for a great stay

wow wow wow...I was there for a dog training seminar so the days were filled with training our dogs...but at the end of the day...coming home to the cutest, coziest little house with a BIG back yard for the kids (dogs lol) to just chill and stretch their legs while I drank a few cold ones...lol..amazing amazing place to Stay a d Kelly was very on top of things a d ready to do whatever we meeded...which was nothing because it was already there!!!!

Absolutely Beautiful place with so much space indoor and outdoor. Great location, so comfortable, everything you need. Vikki was so proactive and responsive with everything we needed. She left us some little treats to make for a happy valentines. will definitely stay here when we visit family next.

Great location, very quiet street, house is clean and free of excess clutter. The home is tucked away, but still right around the corner from all the best spots in the bay.

Perfect stay, we loved everything about Chez Bird Dog. From the pre-check in process through check out, everything was exactly as it should be. We highly recommend Chez Bird Dog for a quiet, peaceful, real Laurel experience.

This was our first trip with our pups and we needed a quiet place away from foot traffic. This place is near downtown and the grounds were lovely. When renovating, some structural components were left intact, contributing to the charm of the place. The brick sidewalks are aesthetically pleasing but might be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The cottages are located by the train tracks and we liked that after the initial train went through - a bit surprising how the sound carried. It’s a neighborhood with a mixture of renovated historical mansions and houses needing renovation, all which we found interesting.

Great choice, this will be our go to place when visiting the area.

I like to stay here when I participate in the Art in the Pass Art festival. It is a very comfy space and walking distance to the venue. The bed is comfortable and the space is clean. The price is very reasonable and it is very close to the beach.

We absolutely loved staying here! The townhome was so clean and very spacious!! We particularly loved that every bedroom has an en-suite bath. The location is great as well!! Very easy to access any location in Oxford!! One of the best parts of our stay was the host!! She was so helpful and very easy to communicate with! We would definitely stay here again!!

We loved Kelly's place. The bed was super comfortable and the entire unit was quiet making for very peaceful sleeping. The real standout is the outdoor space - we used the hot tub and sitting area a ton and was the main draw for us. An unexpected bonus was the little beach at the end of the road that's situated between private property making for a really secluded and peaceful experience. On top of everything Kelly was a communicative and understanding host. We were also so grateful to be able to bring our grumpy older dog with us without a pet fee - he had plenty of space to explore around their yard. The only minor thing I didn't realize when booking was that the main restaurant/beach area is about a 20 minute drive. It's completely doable and wasn't an issue, but just wasn't something I realized when I booked. We will absolutely stay here again if we are back in the area, truly no negatives.

Daryl's cabin is an excellent place to stay. very private very peaceful. if you need to get away from everything this is the place to go. super quiet and private. in a beautiful setting. would stay here anytime available and when in area.

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend! My family had an amazing experience staying at Melissa’s place! The cabin was just as described – clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, with plenty for us and our teenagers to do outdoors, from enjoying the hot tub, to kayaking, wading in the creek, cooking s’mores or just relaxing in a hammock. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The communication was seamless, and I appreciated how quick the host was to respond to any questions I had. The little touches, like fresh towels, complimentary coffee, and the thoughtful guidebook, made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from the rush of life. Our family will definitely be back!

Me and a workmate were passing through the area for work and this place was the same price or cheaper than a hotel. I heard the bed was comfortable, but I can only attest to the couch where I slept. It was comfortable enough and I think perfectly fine for a one night stay. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with appliances, dishes, towels and all of that sort of thing. The water in the shower got hot fast and the pressure was GREAT. It was easy to find and Google Maps took us right into the driveway. It feels secluded and quiet. There is another cabin further down the drive but you really don’t even notice it’s over there unless you’re specifically looking for it. I think this is an awesome little cabin for a weekend getaway and it’s hard to argue with the price. I think anyone with realistic expectations would enjoy this spot. Thanks Peggy and Terry!

We love this place! The kitchen has everything for meals & nice grill outside. The queen bed is amazingly comfortable & there’s no end to hot water. The covered back porch, fire pit, dock & creek side & lake bank provide plenty of ‘restful space’. Diane is attentive & concerned that guests have a nice time; NEVER intrusive or invasive; they know the area well & are a good source for restaurants & local history, if you want to ask questions & meet them. We now come once a year for minimum 3-4 days. We always take out a kayak & the pedal boat. We usually catch fish (this time not so much lol), always birdwatch, & the home ducks are fun to watch! Roosevelt State Park & Marathon Lake Recreation Areas are near for Day Use Picnicking, swimming, fishing & boating in season. We enjoy geocaching & there are a few within reasonable driving distance. An hour to Jackson for malls & major attractions, there’s a $ General w/in walking distance; and Forest 6-8 miles north has a Super Walmart

If you’re looking for a perfect getaway to be on the river this is it! Very nice cabin, clean and well maintained property. They had plenty of extra blankets, towels, and all the essentials. Front porch views of the river was so nice and luckily we had some clear nights and you could see so many stars. The only issue I had getting to the location was using my default map on iPhone. I would suggest using the google map app. Other than that it’s an awesome place to stay and I’ll definitely be back again!
