Very relaxing ! The short walk to the very peaceful uncrowded beach was great :) Small town feel!

Best vacation ever! Dreaming every day to make our way back. Kids enjoyed all the amenities. ( Bikes,Kayaks,fishing etc). This was our first time ever staying where we actually felt we overpacked for our kids! This home had absolutely everything all the bases covered and then some. Highly recommend for a relaxing vacation full of memories and time well spent. Could not be more happy and in love with this home. So friendly and so inviting. Everyday was just awesome.

We had another great stay at Jane’s place! We have stayed here several years in a row and are always super happy to be back. We hope Jane continues to share her beautiful home!

The place was lovely. Enjoyed riding bikes around the island every day. It was windy so enjoyed hanging out on the dock. The kitchen is nice and we ate many meals in. Would highly recommend. Nice relaxing weekend.

We’ve stayed in several Airbnbs and I have to say this was the best experience yet! We are a family of 5. Everything was as described and better. The welcome was warm and the hosts are responsive, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for us. The cooking situation was wonderful! Plenty of kitchen items to cook whatever we liked. There was plenty of laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap and complimentary shampoo, body wash and conditioner. We never ran out of linens because a washer and dryer were available and easy to use. We never ran out of tp. There was an easy little wall vacuum to help with sand and crumbs. It truly feels like someone welcomed us into their home, not their rental. We intend to come back and bring more family next spring. What a wonderful experience!!

We can’t say enough great things about this place, it was such a short walk to the beach and the house included everything you would need for a week on the beach. Having a beach wagon, coolers, chairs, beach games, bikes already there takes the stress off of parents and guests to remember everything they may need especially when you live far away: Kitchen was very clean and had everything you would need. Beds were very comfortable. As a family of 4 it was a perfect fit and could’ve accommodated a few more people as well. Several local restaurants and activities to do as well. We will definitely book here again. Thank you for a wonderful week!

So lucky to have found this location. We’re from Chicago & never heard of Dauphin Island but came across it, looking for a non-touristy coastline with affordable accommodations and nice beaches. We fell in love with the island. It’s so nice and has a peaceful local vibe. This place is fantastic. Beautiful views and nice clean space right on the water with sand and a dock, complete with crab traps and sand toys and a nice seating area. My 16 year old never left the hammock! We had a 4 yr old, 2 teenagers, and two moms. We were ALL entertained. We literally swam to the private beach, which was cool. We also beach-hopped to the public beaches and stopped at a few shops and restaurants for seafood. We even took a day trip to New Orleans! We watched the sunset from the beautiful deck every night and took advantage of the grill for dinners. I suggest packing in your own supplies and food but the home is equipped with starter supplies and there is a local shop. Highly recommend this place!!!

Sacklunch was a wonderful stay! Felt right at home, and was offered so many amenities. Very kind to have some things to get on the water with. We'll have to return when the island is warm!

This place was great! House was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The location was perfect with the bay access right behind the house and the beach access only a 2 minute walk across the street. The host was very responsive and answered any questions we had quickly. Overall it was fantastic!!

we were very happy with our stay and the great communication Paula had during our stay. she is a great host and we would go back anytime.
