It was the perfect cosy cottage to spend Christmas together as a family gathering from Dorset, Gloucester and locally. Thank you!

Felt right at home and loved the place. it was great watching the stars and planets from the hot tub. Joe kept us stocked with firewood. local pub friendly with excellent real ale. never got the opportunity to eat there but heard the food is good.

Lovely stay for the weekend - it’s really beautiful and well appointed. Spotless and spacious. Communication before arrival was excellent. I scraped my ankle and the hosts provided plasters promptly which was much appreciated. Bath was also very comfy, a real treat as we don’t have one! Would definitely recommend.

Was a perfect stay from start to finish, we had Absolutely nothing to complain about. Clean, perfect location and peaceful!

We had a great stay at Yarlington Dairy. The views were beautiful and inside of the cottage was lovely too. The hot tub was great to come back to after a few long hikes! Great location and really friendly and welcoming host. We will definitely be coming back.

We loved our stay. Old Barn House was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub. Communication was good and there were a lot of recommendations of things to do.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in this lovely cottage, it's central to the village so walkable to everything. Chip Shop next door but don't be put off you couldn't tell and it's great food. Walking is fabulous and Britannia and Horse Shoe Inn are brilliant.

Thank you for having us at Craig yr Hafod, we all had a wonderful time. Loved the peaceful and beautiful setting and really enjoyed exploring the plot and neighbouring mountains. Would love to come back and see the area in another season.

Rose Cottage was as lovely as the pictures show it to be. We felt so comfortable and at home. The hosts were fantastic - great communication and we loved the little extras. The birthday cake for our son was also such a lovely touch. We had such a great few days - thank you!

We booked the cottage as we was attending a horse show a few miles away. The cottage was just as it was listed Beautiful, clean and very Comfortable. we had a lovely stay and we would most definitely look to book again x

Nagi & Victoria’s place was perfect for us and a great walking holiday with our two dogs. The accommodation has excellent space outside to let your four legged friends free roam and inside is a well laid out space allowing for both family time and self time. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful and peaceful. So comfortable and relaxing

We had a cosy, comfortable stay at The Walkers Rest, with stunning views right from the windows. We made good use of the provided map for a beautiful hike around the local area, spotting plenty of spring lambs along the way. A late request to Angharad for use of the sauna was kindly accommodated, and it turned out to be the perfect final touch to our stay. The sauna features large windows so you can soak in the mountain views and we even heard owls calling in the evening! We’ll definitely be returning!

Clare's cottage was a real haven, a home away from home. The setting was stunning and Helen was a wonderful host super helpful and friendly but never intrusive. We had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. Helen has also provided a glossary of information about the surrounding area andots of brochures for keen walkers. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Sitting in the cosy sauna watching the sun set and moon rise with the birdsong all around ... just perfect! We had an amazing few days here in this beautiful house. Fantastic walks right from the door and some well stocked local farm shops for bbqs on the firepit.

What a perfect cosy cottage in a wonderful setting with unbelievable views out across the valley to the hills beyond from the little chairs and table outside. Helena was welcoming and did everything to make us comfortable. Her work on the garden over the years has created something really special. If you like flowers and nature this is for you. Also all the basics- bed comfy, kitchen well appointed, sofa comfy, shower relaxing, …. All good.

We had a fantastic, comfortable, peaceful stay,. The accomodation was stylish, with everything that was required along with a few extra lovely touches.Robert was a great host, easy to deal with and very accomodating with requests. Would love to come back !!

Unfortunately a flying visit as we were attending a wedding locally. However we hope to go back at some point. A wonderfully cosy cottage in a very peaceful location. Zoe was friendly and helpful thanks.

Tracey was incredibly welcoming and had baked us a cake and gave us some farm eggs which were both delicious! She also helped us with local recommendations for places to eat and was generally lovely. A beautiful, modern conversion of a barn on a working farm with lambs in field around. Well equipped and decorated with comfortable under floor heating. We were walking the 3 Castles Way and every thing was in easy reach. Highly recommended!

Wonderful return stay. The cottage is comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Perfect location with lovely walks from the doorstep. Great shops and places to eat in Abergavenny and nearby (Baffle Haus and The Retreat). Will visit again soon!
